Christopher Lee Kattan, aka Chris Kattan, born on October 19, 1970, is an American actor, comedian, and author born in Culver City, California. Known for his comical appearance and for being an active member of “The Groundlings” and several other comedy groups, Chris Kattan is also well known as a cast member on " Saturday Night Live Saturday Night Live or popularly called as NBC&#39 >> Read More... " for eight years (March 1975 - May 2003). He played the role of Doug Butabi in “A Night at the Roxbury”. His mother was a model, Hajni Joslyn, and Zen Buddhist, and his father, Kip King, an actor and a comedian. His father was in the founding panel of the comedy group “The Groundlings”, which Kattan later joined after he graduated from high school.

Chris lived in Mt. Baldy when he was five spent his childhood there until he was 15. Afterward, he moved to Bainbridge Island, Washington for high school. Chris moved to Los Angeles after he completed high school. That sketch was adapted into Kattan's first movie, "A Night at the Roxbury" released in 1998. He appeared in other films like "House on Haunted Hill" in 1999 and "Corky Romano" in 2001 when he was also active on "SNL". Chris Kattan went on to become notable by the mini-series "Bollywood Hero" (IFC, 2009). He also played the recurring role of Bob on "The Middle" on ABC from 2009-2018 and even competed on the stage of "Dancing with the Stars" which aired on ABC in 2005.

Kattan was married to model Sunshine Deia Tutt for a brief period between June 2008 to February 2009. Kattan injured his neck and spine during the filming of an SNL sketch aired in May 2001. His injury had a huge impact on his career and life for more than 20 years. He published his Memoir, Baby Don't hurt me in 2019.
