Muttathe Mulla is a Malayalam television series that was aired on channel Asianet. The show tells the story of Aswathy, as she deals with the challenges life throws at her while pursuing her dreams and desires of luxury. Aswathy had failed her 10th grade exams, and comes from an impoverished amily. She gets married into a middle-class joint family and becomes the eldest daughter-in-law. Because of her inferiority complex, she craves excessive luxuries and desires. She pretends to show that she is more educated and wealthy than others, but her pretentiousness ruins not only her life but also the lives of those around her.
