English Tv Show Skins Series 3

Skins series 3 is all about a group of teenagers (British). The storyline has given rise to many questions, e.g.-mental illness, gender, sexuality, substance abuse, bullying etc.

The teenagers are trying hard to grow up, fall in love with someone special, and most important of all-happiness, despite the hurdles like questionable parenting and majorly society. Every episode focuses on one character everyday and the problems faced by them in their daily life. Every episode is named after the character (whose story will be shared in that particular episode). The writers of the series are Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain and it started from 25th January, 2007. The episodes were very successful and reached the targeted demography within the time decided, had highest ratings too.

Skins series has been running successfully over the past six years. Every two years the primary cast is being replaced. The plans were being made regarding the film “Spin – Off” but unfortunately that plan didn’t work out (2009).

A new series was made and was the last one too; it was the 7th series which came in 2013. The name of the show “Skins” came from cigarette rolling paper which is popularly known as “Skins”.

This series had a new cast which replaced the ones in the first and second series. In this series there were nine main characters and one who was the supporting character. Here is a briefing about the cast:

Kaya Scodelario Kaya Scodelario or Kaya Rose Scodelario was born o >> Read More... as Effy Stonem (Tony’s younger sister). The one who knows that her brother has left for the University, and is the “new queen bee” – is totally independent, has control over her and seems attractive to all the people around.

Lisa Backwell was telecast as Pandora Moon (made an appearance in Effy). Merveille Lukeba came as Thomas Tomone, who is known as a good and upright person.

Jack O’Connell as James Cook is well known as performing dangerous stunts knowing his friends will always be quite helpful.

Megan Prescott and Kathryn Prescott (real life twins) as twins: Katie Fitch and Emily Fitch. While Katie is known as someone who wants to establish her individuality, while Emily is known as someone who doesn’t have any problem being a twin. But she has issues with her own timidity and to be dynamic is upto the attitude of Katie.

Similarly, there are a few more characters which have become a part of the cast.
