English Tv Show Denver, The Last Dinosaur

Denver, the last dinosaur, is a popular American-French animated series that aired on television in 1988. The show, although intentioned for children, dealt with textured modern world problems such as conservation and ecology while also depicting deeply humane themes such as friendship, greed, kindness, etc. The show primarily focused on the adventures of Denver, the last dinosaur on the planet and his gang of friends Jeremy, Mario, Shades, Wally and Casey as they wandered around the streets of California.

The story kick starts when Jeremy along with his usual suspects goes to visit a museum in Brea Tar Pits, a place in Los Angeles. The five boys are very curious about the science around paleontology they are looking around the museum, they come across a bunch of bullies and to save themselves from them, the boys run and hide behind a fence where they find a gigantic egg placed in a basket. The boys start playing with the egg when suddenly it hatches and out comes a dinosaur who surprisingly understands English. The boys name the dinosaur Denver and decide to keep his existence a secret. They teach Denver many things like skateboarding, etc.

After some time a rock concert manager Morton Fizzback comes to know about Denver and decides to use him for making money. The rest of the story is a cat-and-mouse chase between Denver’s friends and Morton as they try to save Denver from the clutches of Morton. The show was among the most popular cartoons of the late 1980s, owing to people’s fascination with Dinosaurs. This popularity made the network revive the show for a second season in September 1988.
