Lost is a television series which was quite popular in Canada and the United States of America. The first episode aired on 22nd April 2004 and the last hit the screens on 25th May 2005. The first season of this series contained 25 episodes. The show's plot revolves around forty-eight people who survive a plane crash and find themselves stranded on an isolated island in the depths of Pacific. How they tackle the problems that come their way and beat the challenges remains the core of this story.

The first episode showed the crash and breaking down of a plane. In the same episode, a monster eats the pilot. The next episode is a continuation of the initial one In which the survivors make an effort to send signals from a high ground. During this process, a polar bear attacks them. In 'Tabula Rasa,’ Sawyer kills the marshal to spare him the pain. The fourth episode shows the burning of the fuselage. In 'White Rabbit,’ Jack unknowingly comes across fresh water caves.

In 'House of the Rising Sun,’ a lot of the survivors make way to the caves while some of them stay back. The seventh episode reveals Charlie's addiction to heroin. In 'Confidence Man,’ Shannon suffers an asthma attack. In 'Solitary,’ Rousseau captures Sayid. The former then reveals her identity to the latter. In the tenth episode, Sayid is extremely wounded and makes his way back to the camp. In the following episode, Ethan abducts Claire and Charlie.

The twelfth episode portrays the discovery of Marshal's locked case by Kate. In 'Hearts and Minds' Shannon and Sayid's relationship takes an intimate leap. In 'Special,’ Michael finally decides to face Walt. In 'Homecoming,’ Claire makes her way back to the group of survivors. The following episode depicts the murder of Sawyer's parents in the form of a flashback. In the seventeenth episode, situations get a little messy. The raft on which Michael had worked catches fire and Jin becomes the prey of all the blame.

In 'Numbers,’ the mystery behind the lottery numbers comes forth. In the following episode, Locke realizes the inactivity of his legs and worries about falling sick. In 'Do No Harm,’ Boone loses the battle against life. In 'The Greater Good,’ Boone's funeral takes over. The twenty-second episode portrays the story of the latch and the many trials of opening it. In the next episode, Rousseau brings information of another group of people who were coming. The last two episodes are tale twisters, and one must watch it themselves.
