PLOT:
The scene starts with a naked Leonardo taking drugs. He plays the character of Jordan Belfort, a man who wants his name on the top of the list of the richest men. But, the situation doesn’t allow him to build it up so fast, as he starts off as a struggler with an entry-level job in the wall street. Soon enough, at the age of 20, he opens a new firm with some old friends in an abandoned garage, and with his wicked yet brilliant mind, he defrauds many millionaires out of millions. At the age of 26, he already owns $49 million in his name and is kissing the sky with millionaires. He enjoys the liberty of money, along with drugs, and sex, which makes him go higher in the world of intoxication with his friends. Later, he gets married to a playgirl and becomes the father of a son.
ANALYSIS:
The movie has been filmed on some real events, and has completely described the rise and sudden fall of Jordan Belfort. Thus, it becomes a little lengthy as the director has to portray each and every scene. The narration by Jordan Belfort about his earlier days and young broker days makes you expect a lot of good drama and sudden jumps from one scene to another. Belfort makes his way to stardom and fame by selling the stocks at just six cents per share in his self-made investment brokerage firm in an abandoned garage. Later, he rises to sell “blue chips” for 50 percent commission and a job in ‘Forbes’.
As he rises to the top level, he gets more and more addicted to drugs. His enjoyment includes money, intoxication and girls. As he and his sidekick, Donny, get high with drugs, they create nuisance like banging and smashing up cars and furniture, and vomiting.
WHAT’S THERE?
WHAT’S NOT THERE?

The cinema is enclosed with high drama, comedy, and humour. It is one of the good choices to look forward to during the weekend. The movie has eye-capturing performances by the star cast, and the story gives you the scene of the ugly, yet real face of the world, along with laughter and comic scenes. If you are expecting to see Leonardo DiCaprio’s best performance, then opt for this movie as it promises you a real good ride through an enchanting and intoxicating, yet brilliant scenario.
