Shabiran Channa, a popular Sindh film and television actor, was born on January 15, 1958, in Larkana. She is known for her work in TV dramas and telefilms and is considered one of the most prominent figures in Pakistani media landscape and Sindhi entertainment. She gained popularity from her comic roles and has been active in the industry for nearly four decades. Channa began her career in 1987 with a PTV drama produced by Bedil Masroor. Her role in Pathar Duniya, where she played village lady Khairan, is considered very iconic and became a breakthrough on her career. She is also known for her work in Laloolal.com (2016). She has acted in over 500 Urdhu and Sindhi dramas and hosted a music show on Awaz TV. Channa passed away in 2023 due to a tragic traffic accident near Tehsil Qazi Ahmad of Nawabshah. The incident occurred on April 24.
