Born on 19 May 1989, Inder Arya is a singer by profession. Known for his melodious voice Inder is from Bagpali village, situated in the Almora district of Uttarakhand. His mother and father’s name is Hema Devi and Fakir Ram. Inder has four brothers and a sister. His wife is Pushpa Devi, and his son is Tanish Arya. Spending his childhood living in a village, he now lives in Haldwani. His interest in music started in childhood as just a hobby. He used to take part in school programs for singing. Inder completed his high school education at Government Inter College Almora. Apart from being a singer, Inder is also a cook by profession.

During his job in Chandigarh, when he had some time to spare, he sang Kumaoni songs with his friends. His colleagues appreciated his singing. His first Kumaoni song was ‘Pushpa’ released on 18 August 2018 with the help of folk singer Anand Koranga. Inder gained popularity with his song ‘Tero Lehenga’ released in September 2020. His music is popular among Kumaoni song lovers. Some of his Kumaoni songs are Bol Heera Bol, Sunday of the Week, and Stick to Mascara.
