Ankit Negi is a singer, lyricist and composer from Karnprayag, Uttarakhand. He lives in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He is fluent in Garhwali and English languages. His family includes an elder brother named Pradeep Negi, sisters Vinita Rana Sati and Aanchal Negi, and cousin Aditya Negi. He has worked on various Uttarakhandi songs like “Hirni Si Chaal”, “Sankaunya Ishara”, “Chandra Pyari”, “Jakh Dhaar Aege”, “Mukhdi Dikhedi Ja”, “Kakh Holi Meri Syali” and various others. For the song “Sankaunya Ishara”, he was the lead singer, the Lyrics and Composition was done by Aman Uniyal, music was provided by Ashutosh Mehra, and the song released with “Hilly Vibe Studio” under AR Films label.

The song “Hirni si Chaal” garnered over five lakh views on YouTube. He also studied hotel management from Government Institute of Hotel Management, Dehradun. He studied there from 2016 to 2020. He was a trainee at the famous hotel chain Hyatt Regency, Lucknow in 2018. And he owns his restaurant named “Shri Dayal Restaurant”, in Jollygrant, Dehradun, India. His restaurant also provides tiffin services for college students, which has been benefiting the nearby “Swami Rama Himalayan University” students. As a result of his hard work and enthusiasm, he manages to jumble both of his passions of Music and Hotel management very effectively.
