Ashok Mall [a native of Pithoragadh born in 1958] is a Pahari actor known for working in the famous and featured film Megha Aa by Nirmal Singh Bishti, released in 1987. Before landing in the film industry, he was a known farmer in Uttarakhand. He worked for many movies during his time. The names of such movies include Chakrachaal, Meri Ganga Holi Ta Maimu Ali, Kautheeg, Gopi Bhina (for which he also worked as a director), etc. he used to consider himself a lover of plants and animals.
He was a known farmer, actor, director and producer who worked for the Indian army before landing in the film industry. He received his graduation degree from Pithoragadh in 1987. He died on 8th July 2020 at around 5:57 am at Sai Snehdeep Hospital, Navi Mumbai. The reason behind his death was known to be prolonged cancer disease.
