Binu Sadanandan

Born in the small land of Kalady of Ernakulum district Binu Sadanandan is one of the most successful and famous film directors in Malayalam cinema. He is also one of those directors to be listed on the film director list. He is the son of K. Sadanandan and Radhamani. He was born and brought up in Kalady and completed his education here itself. Currently, he is married to Geethu and blessed with two children’s He began his career as a photographer.

Meanwhile, he was paving his way of becoming a director by developing a one-line plot for his debut film Itihaasa in 2014, when he approached several actors, he faced a lot of problem as the script being exceptional and unique for the Malayalam cinema it was rejected by them and considered to be a failed work. It was a comedy-fiction. The story revolves around the body-swapping of the lead character in the movie (shine Tom Chacko and Anusree), which was very well received at the box office.

His second film was Style, which took two years in the making proved to be a milestone in his directorial career. Also, being a screenwriter, Binu wanted all his pieces of work to be unique, which makes Itihaasa be a fiction and style to be a normal movie. Within one year, his third film, Kamuki, was set to release; it was a romantic film based on a true story. These three movies in Binu Sadanandan has given him immense popularity in Malayalam cinema.
