Vanshika Hapur is a popular social media influencer, singer, and dancer from Hapur, a village in Uttar Pradesh. She was born in 2006 and has two brothers and two sisters. Her parents, Sushila Devi and Ramesh Hapur worked as labourers to run the family. From childhood, Vanshika was a bright student, passionate about dancing and acting. Though she did not have any formal training, she danced very well. So, she recorded her dance videos on her mother’s smartphone but did not post them anywhere online. But, in 2022, when Vanshika posted the video of her dancing in a black saree to the Haryanvi song, Kasar Koi Chhod Do Na Laad Ladane Mein as her Whatsapp status, someone downloaded the video and posted it on Facebook and became viral in other sites as well such as Instagram and Whatsapp.

Vanshika and her family were not aware that she had started becoming famous for dancing to that song. Many netizens tried to discover the identity of the ‘mystery girl’ of the viral dance video. But, Vanshika later announced to the media that she was the ‘mystery girl’ of the dance video. After her announcement, a local news reporter came to her place and interviewed Vanshika and her family. He had also asked Vanshika to dance. This video went viral and many social media influencers started interviewing and shooting dance videos with her. She became extremely popular overnight when she met with Farmani Naaz, a famous singer of Indian Idol Season 12 fame, and danced to her hit song, Fortuner.

Encouraged by the increasing popularity of her dance videos, she created profiles on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and started posting her dance videos to various hit songs. She also posted YouTube shorts and Insta reels, danced to commercial and independent songs, and collaborated with various musical artists. She also starred in different Haryanvi music videos and started singing. Some of her famous music videos to this date are Ho Gayi Galti, Kala Suit, Surma Kala, Sorry Sorry Bolgi and many more. Apart from singing and dancing, she also creates daily vlogs on her YouTube channel to connect with her fans.
