1. Asma Abbas
Asma Abbas is one among the few talented serial actresses in Pakistan. She hails from a legendary family. Asma is the daughter of Ahmed Bashir and Mehmooda Bashir. Ahmed is the popular writer and journalist in Pakistan. Asma has three sisters and a brother. Except, her brother, who is in the US, all her siblings are in the cinema and its related industries. Although Asma entered the TV industry, just a few years back, she got a huge fan base with her exemplary performances.

Of late there have been quite a few Pakistani actresses who have made their entry into Bollywood, but unfortunately most of them have not made any significant mark as far as histrionics is concerned. They have mostly been seen in intimate and steamy scenes or shaking a leg in item numbers. Sara Loren, the Pakistani actress also falls in the same genre with her bold looks and eye catching figure. She has had to make a series of shifts to come to the stage in her career that she now is in. Having been born in Kuwait to Pakistani parents, she was actually christened Mona at the time of her birth. Her first shift was back to native Pakistan at the time her father died in 2001, when she was still a teenager. Although her interests lay in painting and writing poetry, she was keen to take up a career in acting once she was back in Pakistan.
Her acting career, however, did not come just like that. She was lucky to have been spotted by a photographer who was actually taking photo shoots for her friend, when he noticed her and took some snaps of her which actually landed her with her first modeling job for an ad campaign. This ultimately paved her way for her first Pakistani acting assignment in the serial “Rabia Zinda Rahegi”. That was in the year 2003 when she was 18. Thereafter, for some years she visited various countries with a Pakistani drama troupe, performing in dramas. But it was not until 2010 that she got her break into Bollywood, which was her dream for a long time. It was at this time that she took over the more trendy name of Sara Loren, perhaps to give it a more international tinge and concealing the Pakistani link.
It was Pooja Bhatt who was instrumental in giving her this break, directing her in the film “Kajrare” with music director cum actor Himesh Reshmaiyya and Amrita Singh. Her other Bollywood appearance was in the more recent Murder 3, where she played the role of a waitress, alongside Randeep Hooda. In the intervening periods she was also keeping herself busy acting in Pakistani films, most notable of which have been “Saltanat”, “Gidh” and “Love Mein Ghum”

Hashim Butt is a long-serving Drama and Cinema Actor. He is well-known for the unconventional film, Main Hoon Shahid Afridi that released in the gear 2013. The highly skilled Artiste predominantly acts in Pakistani movies. The Movie is based on a young boy, who desires to become the popular Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. Even though Hashim is old, he was introduced into the Pakistani Cinema field only recently. He is energetic like a youngster and acts like a veteran in the field.

Firdous Jamal is a renowned personality in the mediums of theater, radio, TV, and film. He is an icon promoting art and culture in Pakistan who is considered to be an academy himself. He has been serving Pakistan media over 40 years and over the years he has produced a number of dramas, commercials, and documentaries for the small screen. In movies, he has 30 years of experience, and perhaps that is why he has been recognized as ‘Voice of Millennium’ from Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC). He has won the best actor award 4 times for PBC and had been nominated in the best actor category for eight times. The highest honor that he has been awarded is ‘Pride of Performance 1986 National Award’ presented by President of Pakistan. The actor has not turned to silver screen over a decade. The last film that he had acted was 'Kanwara Baap'. Since films are not very success in Pakistan, then he quit acting and continued to engage himself in theater and dramas. Being a renowned film, TV, and theater person, he has some failures too in his career. He even tried to turn into a singer but failed miserably. He had no plans to become an actor. But fate had something else written for him. He joined radio. Later, he worked in theater for a long time. He even gave audition for TV plays and entered TV medium finally. He appeared for the first time in a drama, "Budnamee They Toway". Today, he has to his credit 300 television plays in Urdu, Pushto, Hindko, and Punjabi, 150 stage plays, 200 radio programmes and plays, and 50 films in Urdu, Even some of his old plays such as ‘Sayeeban Sheeshay Ka’, ‘Man Chale Ka Sauda’, ‘Mehboob’, ‘Pagal Ahmeq Bewakoof’ are still remembered by today’s generation. He is the most seasoned actors that Pakistan drama industry had ever produced. He was born on June 9, 1954, in Lahore, Pakistan.

Ahsan Khan is a Pakistani actor born on 9th October, 1981. His journey into the world of acting started in 1998 as he debuted in the movie ‘Nikah’ , then went on to act in movies like ‘Ghar Kab Aao Gay’, ‘Dil Mera Dharkan Teri’.

Waqar Ali is a talented Pakistani musician and singer. Ali is known for his albums and singles. His dad, Shafqat Hussein, is also a trained classical musician. He has also composed music for the film Aik Aur Love Story and the 2007 Pakistani TV drama series Sill. Popular Pakistani actor Imran Abbas, famous for his good looks and striking eye color, was born on October 15, 1982 in the city of Lahore. He has dabbled in modeling, written Urdu poetry and presented shows apart from acting and is also an architect, having studied it in the Lahore National College of Arts. Even from a young age, he was considered the actor of the family as they called him “dramabaaz” lovingly.

Noman Ijaz is a Pakistani actor, who was born on 14th February 1965 in Lahore, Pakistan. His father was a manager at one movie theatre in Lahore and his father’s job influenced him a lot in getting into the acting career. His family led a simple and humble life and his father wanted to make sure that all of his three children received good education and they were sent to the best Christian Management schools in Lahore. Noman has two brothers and he is now married to Rabia and they have three children.
He began his acting career through PTV and he acted mainly in dramas. He was famous for his negative roles in the dramas and is considered as one of the most respected senior artists in the Pakistan industry. Noman struggled a lot to find his place in the industry initially and he was widely respected for his hard work and humble behaviour. He started his career with a negative role in the drama ‘Rihaee’ which made him famous both among the audience and the industry folks.
He has an Urdu movie ‘Ramchand Pakistani’ to his credit which was released in 2008. He portrayed a Pakistani Hindu, who crossed the border towards India accidently and his wife’s role was played by Nandita Das in the movie. He was honoured by Pakistan president with the ‘Pride of performance award’ in 2011. He currently hosts a TV show on PTV.
