He married in year 1968 and has four children all settled abroad but he didn’t leave his motherland. He started his career in 1960s at the age of five from Radio Pakistan and then after getting fame he shifted to PTC. He was one of the primary actors of PTV. He started his film actor journey in 1965 and has been part of 200 films. He did remarkable roles in movies such as Durr-e-Shehwar based on husband wife relationships and FBI Operation Pakistan based on military released in 1971.
