Shamim Hilaly is a veteran Pakistani actress who has worked in the television as well Pakistani film industry. She is known for her performance in “Maigh Malhaar” a drama series in the 1990s. She has not just been a part of the movie in Beyond the Last Mountain a Pakistani English language film. Her other works include “Ek Nazar Meri Taraf,” “Saiqa,” “Morr Us Gali Ka,” “Dil e Muzter” and much more. She was born in Mumbai, India. When she was a baby, her parents moved to Lahore due to Indo-Pak separation. She did her schooling in Lahore. She is a graduate in English Literature. She was always interested in theater and would be a part of performing arts in school and college. Initially, she worked as a teacher in school but due to her passion and interest in acting she shifted her career in theater.
