Meera is a Pakistani film actress, television presenter and a model. Very few people know that her real name is ‘Irtiza Rubab’ but she is well known for her stage name ‘Meera’. She was born on 12 May 1977 at Sheikhupura, Punjab, Pakistan. She did her all education in Lahore.
Before joining the Pakistani films, Meera started her career as a stage actress and a model in a very young age. But later she joined Pakistani films and dramas. The debut movie of this actress came in 1995 but earned nationwide critical acclaim in 1999 when she performed a lead role in the movie “Khilona” (1996-97). Because of her talent in “khilona” movie she won her first ‘Nigar Award’ and her work was praised by the people. She won second consecutive ‘Nigar Award for The Best Actress of the year’ for her performance in Inteha movie, another critical and commercial success. In 2004, a role in “Salakhain” lifted her image internationally.
Meera started her career in Bollywood with a joint Indo-Pakistan film “Nazar”. The kissing scene in this movie became controversial in Pakistan. Nazar was directed by ‘Soni Razdan’. This movie introduced Meera to the Bollywood industry. Her second movie in Bollywood was “Kasak” starring Lucky Ali. This movie could not succeed on Box Office. Her third movie “Paanch Ghantey Mein Paanch Crore” was a average grosser movie at the Box Office.
She did lot of work for Urdu and Punjabi films as well such as Kanta (1995), Hawaen(1996), Chief Sahib(1996), Miss Istanbul(1996), Be-Qabu(1996), Sharafat(1997), Fareb(1997), Ehsas(1998), Inteha(1999), Salakhen(2004), Bichhu(2007), Bhadaas(2013), Devdas(2015) and lot more movies....

2. Ali Safina
Ali Safina is another of those Pakistani actors who migrated to the home country after having acted as the DJ in a radio station in a foreign land. For him it was Glasgow in Scotland, where he started his Disc Jockeying - quite a distance away from his native Multan. His early days were also spent outside Pakistan, in Muscat, where he completed his school studies, and then landed in Glasgow to complete his course in mechanical engineering. His original plans were to pursue higher studies on his return to Pakistan, but soon realized he was more attracted towards show business.
