Fazila Qazi, also known as Fazila Qaiser, is a Pakistani TV actress, anchor, producer, writer, chef and a model. She began her career as a child actress during the 80’s and earned critical acclaim for her portrayal in many television serials in 1990’s. Her acting career is spanning to over four decades now and she has become a major TV personality and a real epitome of beauty. In 1988, she established herself as a fashion model until she found success in television in the year 1991. Fazila was born in Karachi, Sindh in Pakistan and completed a degree at the Karachi University. Her name was changed to Fazila Qaiser after she got married to Qaiser Khan Nizamani, a TV actor and a household name during the 1990’s. They got married in 1994 and in the same year, they have launched their own production house called Studio and Media Services. Fazila made an entry into the glamour world at a very young age after she was offered to become a model of a boutique. She then caught the attention of Haider Imam Rizvi, a Pakistani director who introduced her on his upcoming serial. Since then, Fazila was launched in the industry. Prior to her marriage, she appeared in several dramas like Kasak and Dasht and at the same time, she has also done a number of television commercials. But when she became a mother, she took a break and just sidelined from acting. She said that both her pregnancies were unplanned. She got pregnant after her wedding and yet, she remained active and continued acting and on the last phase of his pregnancy, she was doing shows in U. S. and after the birth of her first son, she was in London for a shoot of her serial. Her first son, Ahmed, made her prepare for the coming of their second child. A few years after she returned to television, she was seen anchoring a religious show entitled Ramadan and later returned to acting in dramas. Fazila acted on Hum TV’s Larkiyan Mohallay Ki and Geo TV’s Khuda Aur Muhabbat in 2011. She also hosted a cookery show entitled Dine in with Fazila Qazi on ARY Zauq.

Arjumand Rahim comes out as a most talented theater personality associated with TV in Pakistan. Not just as an actress, but as a director and a producer also she has been extremely successful, and has also been appreciated for her work in these areas. It was in 1995 while she was still in college that she started taking part in Urdu theater. She gradually went up the ladder of fame with the 2008 serial “Mai Aur Tum” in which she co-starred with Faisal Qureshi one of the most versatile actors in Pakistan. The way the pair gelled on screen was much appreciated by TV audiences, prompting her to take up role in a tele-film with Faisal Qureshi. The string of successes perhaps emboldened Arjumand to try her luck at the ultimate destination for all aspirants in the sub continent – Bollywood. Whatever the reasons, but her mission did not succeed and she was back in Pakistan with a renewed determination to reinforce her place in the Pakistan TV world. She now looked to set up her own production house Art Republik, which went on to produce the curious sounding “Shah Rukh Khan Ki Maut” which although produced as a digital format film only, has received appreciation for the boldness of its message. 

However, regarding her own possibilities of entering into film acting she rules it out, declaring openly her penchant for theater, and also expressing her disenchantment at the state of cinema in Pakistan. All in all, however, to sum up Arjumand’s career so far, she is surely one of the most talented TV and stage artistes in Pakistan, performing with equal dedication whether it be in acting or in production, driven by her glowing passion for creativity and uniqueness of production, to cater to her fans and critics alike.

Syed Faisal Bukhari is a Pakistani director, cinematographer, and producer of films and television shows. On 9th August 1963, he was born in the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan. He is the son of the late film cameraman, Syed Riaz Bukhari, and Zubaida Khanum, a well-known Pakistani cinema playback singer. Faisal Bukhari is a Pakistani writer who currently lives in Lahore, Pakistan.

Aurangzeb Laghari, born on January 1st in 1960, in Lahore, Pakistan, is famous for his acting in movies and daily soap serials. Laghari started his career as an actor and deli-vered good movies like Dharkan in 1995, Mischief in 1992, and Wafa in 1981.

With Pakistani TV Actor, things have happened in the reverse order – he made his debut in films and then migrated from films to TV serials, which surely goes against the normal trend. But keeping in tune with his penchant for adventure sports like scuba diving, flying and hunting, Asad is a self confessed “adventurer” and bold enough in whatever he does or comes across. Although not one to have originally thought about an acting career, nor having taken any initial formal training for it, he grabbed the opportunity, prompted by his impulsive nature, when the opportunity came his way, back in 1989. 

As mentioned, Asad Malik started his acting stint as a film actor in 1989, though none of the movies in which he featured could be referred to in any glowing terms, starting off with a horror movie entitled “Pamela”. As his film career really did not take off in any way that would have given him any encouragement, he turned his attention to drama, which still is considered the best art form in Pakistan to show case one’s acting talents. That was a turning point in his career, and from then onwards Asad demonstrated his inherent talent as an actor to the theatre world at large. Side by side, with his name spreading as an actor, he took up modelling opportunities that came his way, side by side with his acting. He then went on to act in quite a few plays of that period, for the then sole TV channel - PTV. Some of these plays like the family drama “Janey Anjaney”, tale of brothers and sisters, “Aansoo” and the slightly controversial “Niqab” most of them penned by the legendary writer Haseena Moin and aired in early 2000 on PTV made Asad a front runner on Pakistani TV. 

Completing a series of fairly successful drama serials for PTV, Asad had also gone over to the private satellite channels when the opportunity came, featuring in “Dil Moti Ke Mole” for ATV, followed by two more for the same channel titled “Adhoori Film Ki Puri Kahani” and the other one called “Angoori”. “Larkiyan Mohallay Ki” followed with Hum TV as well as “Kaisi Yeh Deewangi”, also for Hum TV. His sole appearance for Geo TV at that time was “Buri Aurat”. His appearances ranged from social, romantic, family as well as slightly adult themes. With his success on the TV screen, Asad Malik had confided in several forums that he harbours no intentions to try his luck once again in films, and is quite confident about his future, describing himself as more of a self made man, rather than someone who has followed someone else’s footsteps or guidance in the growth of his career.

Ali Safina is another of those Pakistani actors who migrated to the home country after having acted as the DJ in a radio station in a foreign land. For him it was Glasgow in Scotland, where he started his Disc Jockeying - quite a distance away from his native Multan. His early days were also spent outside Pakistan, in Muscat, where he completed his school studies, and then landed in Glasgow to complete his course in mechanical engineering. His original plans were to pursue higher studies on his return to Pakistan, but soon realized he was more attracted towards show business.
