Tooba Siddiqui is an actress and model from Pakistan. She began her career with a music video, “My Love,” for Yasir Akhtar. In the early 2000s, Tooba started modeling in the Pakistani fashion industry. She was also a part of campaigns for Deevees and Diva. After a break, she returned with a hit thriller series Dushamna-e-Jaan. She has also started in Pakistani television serials, short plays, and telefilms. In 2009, she was a part of Bol Meti Machli. In 2010, Dil Hai Chota Sa. In 2016, she was a part of the movie Dobara Phir Se.

2. Nimra Bucha

Nimra Bucha is a Pakistani TV actress and she is famous for her television drama series in various Pakistani channels. Her acting career began with Traverse Theatre, Karachi, in the early 2006, and she went on to act in many television dramas. It is not known to many people that she is the elder sister of famous Pakistani TV host Sana Bucha. Nimra admitted that Sana is her sister even though Sana has never openly made any statements regarding her relation to Nimra. There is a rumour going around that Sana doesn’t like her sister being in the entertainment industry and she doesn’t want herself to get associated with her sister for this reason. 

 

Fame followed Nimra with her roles in the hit television serials ‘Daam’ and ‘Mera Yaqeen’ but she never received the lime light or appreciation that her younger sister got as a TV host. She acted in successful serials titled ‘Main Manto’ and ‘Kaanebaaz’ and is still continuing her acting career in the television industry. 

 

She was born in Karachi as the daughter of a Pakistani airlines Captain and is married to a TV journalist Mohammed Hanif who is also a successful author. His work ‘A case of exploding mangoes’ received recognition and appreciation in Pakistan. Nimra completed a course on drama from Bard College, Karachi, before starting her career with Traverse Theatre.

3. Farah Shah

Farah Shah is a Pakistani television actress and model. She shot to fame after hosting Yehi To Hai Lollywood, a Lollywood songs countdown show, from where she won the PTV World Award for Best Host. Though there is no one in her family related to films. The audience got impressed with her knowledge about the film industry and the film stars. 


She entered into acting in Boota from Toba Tek Singh, a Pakistani drama serial penned by Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar and helmed by Dilawar Malik. This was followed by a powerful performance in the drama serial Landa Bazaar, which was also written by Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar. Farah’s another notable performance was from the drama serial Chashman, where she played as a simple innocent girl. During her career, she was rumored that she has signed a film, but it turned out to be false. In 2013, she played as Naseem, the ex-wife of Salman Shahid’s character in the drama serial Aseer Zadi, which was aired on Hum TV.

Ainy Jaffri Rahman, a Pakistani actress, and model was born on June 9, 1981, in Karachi, Pakistan. Ainy was born into a Shia Muslim family but grew up in Singapore. She pursued her bachelorette from McGill University, Canada. She has featured in some of the Pakistani productions including “Dreamers” and “Badtameez.” But she caught the eye of everyone when she appeared in Haseena Moin’s drama “Meri Behen Maya” in 2012.

5. Faisal Rehman

Faisal Rehman or better known by his stage name Faisal is a prominent television and film actor, writer and director from Pakistan. He was born in Lahore but his ancestors were hailed from Afghanistan. Faisal is the son of Massud-ur-Rehman, a cinematographer and his brother Fasih Ur Rehman is a classical dancer. He is also the nephew of popular Bollywood actor Rehman. He completed his matriculation at St. Anthony High School in Lahore and entered the film industry at the age of 14. His first role was from the movie Nahi Abhi Nahi in 1980, which stars famous actress Shabnam. He continued to do films and studies at the same time. He attended Forman Christian College and took up Bachelors Degree in English Literature from the University of Punjab. 


He was successful in his debut film and went on to act in several films for almost ten years. In the early 90’s, he moved to Canada and dwells in the country for five years. Faisal lives in Montreal, from where he learned French language. He is also fluent in English, Dari (Persian), Punjabi, Urdu and Bengali languages. When he came back to Pakistan, he did two feature films and several telefilms and dramas. He was applauded by the audience in the drama serial Malaal, helmed by Mehreen Jabbar. He played as Danish, a shallow and possessive man who marries a girl that is half of his age. This serial received the nomination at the 10th Annual Lux Style Award under the category of Best Serial. 


Faisal is also the co-founder of an association for the actors called The Actors’ Collective (ACT). This was established in the year 2009 in Lahore. From 1980 to 1985, Faisal has done films like Aladin, Yeh Zamana Aur Hay, Nadani, Tina, Doorian, Biwi Ho To Aisee, Love Story, Mehek, Miss Colombo, Aaposh, Naraaz, Dhanak, Palkon Ki Chaon Main, Miss Singapore, Chakkar, Beqarar, Qasam Munnay Ki, Girebaan, Baat Ban Jay, Jeenay Nahi Doon Gee, Agar Tum Na Hotay, Aandhi, Bazar R Husn, Pyaar Aur Pesa, Ghaddaar and Guns and Roses. He also did several television serials starting from year 1997 to 2012. The last was with Kamal Haasan in Ranjish Hi Sahi on Geo TV. 


Faisal also directed World Ka Centre in 2002 and won the Best TV Film and Director, Kali Shalwaar in 2003, Javaid Shampoo in 2004, Home in 2005, Karwachoth, Nausar Baaz and a music video in 2006, and Blouse in 2007.

6. Behroze Sabzwari

Behroze Sabzwari is a Karachi, Pakistan-born film and TV actor. He started his career as a Radio Jockey in Radio Pakistan. His career of acting took off flight in the 1970s with Dadajan Nanajan, a live television children’s play. Bheroze is popular for the role of character Aziz in the film Gul-e-Rana and character Waji Ahmed in Mera Naam Yousuf Hai. He also appeared in many television commercials several times. He has also been a part of some stage plays which includes the famous Mirza Ghalib Bandar Road Par, a famous play by Khawaja Moinuddin. This play was one of the earliest Bheroze’s ventures that introduced him throughout the television viewers of Pakistan in starting seventies. In the year 1974, he got fame through the play aired on PTV, Khuda Ki Basti, in which he played character Nausha.
