Mamilla Shailaja Priya is a Telugu actress popularly called as Priya. She was also called with another name, Priyasakhi.
She was born in 1978 in a town called Bapatla, which is located in the present state of Andhra Pradesh. She has Blue eyes and the most favorite child in the family among three sisters.
She pursued her schooling in Hyderabad and, during her college life, she won Miss College pageant which portraits her beauty. Later she completed a degree in Bachelor of Arts.
She started her acting career alongside the Mega star of Tollywood Dr. Chiranjeevi (greatest actor of Telugu cinema) in the Movie ‘Master’. In the same year, she started acting in a TV serial named Priyasakhi in Gemini TV, which was a huge hit and gained a lot of fame for her. She also acted in ‘Dairy of Mrs.sharada' (female oriented serial) and ‘Kottabangaram’ for Gemini TV.
Later she acted in serials for all leading Telugu channels:
Lady Detective, Sangarshana, Pelli Chesukundam & Jwaala in ETV.
Maanasa in MAA TV.
Chinna kodalu in Zee TV.
Vaidehi in Doordarshan.
Nagamma in Tamil for Sun TV and Yehi Hai Jindagi in Hindi.
She also appeared in commercials like Chandana Brothers (readymade cloth showroom), Shakti Oil, Til Sona Oil, Kanchan Mixer Grinder.
She had anchored shows like Santoor Top10, Geetanjali, Endaro Mahanbavulu.
She got married, in 2002, to MVS Kishore and couple have a son named MVS Nischay, born in 2003, she presently lives in Hyderabad with her husband.
She had been awarded many awards like prestigious “Nandi” Award very early in her career by the government of Andhra Pradesh. She is the recipient of various awards like the Dasari Cultural Award, Swathi Cultural Award, & Vamsee Berkeley Award.
She even acted in 60 Featured films as supporting actress. Presently she is serving as mother roles in Telugu films.

Karuna is a Telugu serial actress. She was born and brought up in Hyderabad. She started her acting career at her childhood. When she went to Bala Bhavan for summer camp, Aaha movie coordinators were searching for child artist;  then they selected karuna for that movie. In Aaha, she acted as a child artist and after that she got offers for movies like Ninne ishtapaddanu, Mass, Manthra, Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam, Shankar Dhadha MBBS, etc. She got married on October 22, 2009 with Bharth Bhushan and she has one kid. Karuna’s husband is an ad film maker. She is acting because of his support and encouragement. When she goes for shooting, she leaves her child with her mother-in-law and sister-in-law.

She did not think about to act in serials, but she got first offer in Yuva serial, then she acted in that and after that she did Love serial.

She acted in Mogalirekulu serial and earned fame. Actually in this serial she came in middle for substitution but she did good job. Diirector Manjula Naidu had seen her on Bale Chancele program and then she asked Karuna to act in Magalirekulu. She accepted and after that she left Pasupu Kumkuma serial. Now she is working in Sravana Sameeralu serial, in this she is leading main role.
