Diptirekha Padhi, well known by her stage name Diptirekha, is an Odia playback singer born on 17 October, from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She received her education at the famous Sri Satyasai Highschool. Ramadevi Womens College is where she completed her education. She went on to complete her M.A. in Economics at Utkal University. Guru Pradeep Kumar Das instructed her in Indian classical Odissi music. Diptirekha has primarily performed as a playback vocalist in Odia language films. She has also appeared in Tele-Serials such as Raja Kanya, in which she played the lead role. Her voice has been heard in films such as 4 Idiots, Tu Mo Love Story, and Kabula Barabula.
