Famous as Rani Lakshmi Bai of Hindi television, Varsha Usgaonkar is a top Marathi actress of 90s. She is a Konkani and hails from Goa. She was born on 28th February 1968 and is daughter of A.K.S. Usgaonkar, who is the former deputy speaker of Goa. She has two sisters Dr. Mrs. Tosha Kurade and Mrs. Manish Tarkar. She is multitalented actress, who has worked in many Hindi television serials as well as in Marathi and Bollywood movies. She has also sung in a Konkani music album Roop Tujem Lalita Pixem with Ulhas Buyao.

Playing lead role in Brahamchari in Marathi theatre was the stepping stone of her acting career. She gave many super hit Marathi movies. In Bollywood, she played as a lead actress in Ghar Aya Mera Pardesi and Pathreela Rasta. She performed supporting role in Amir Khan's movie Mangal Pandey. Her television career debuted in 1988, when she played Uttara, wife of Abhimanyu in the serial Mahabharath, of Doordarshan. In 1994, she was seen as a snake queen in Chandrakanta serial. But her most memorable performance is that of Rani Lakshmi Bai in Jhansi ki Rani which aired on television during 1990. In 2000, she married Ajay Sharma, who was the son of film and music director Ravishankar. After her husband's death, her sister-in-law accused her of harassment and claimed ownership to the bungalow in which she lived. This was followed by a court case and brought controversies in her life.

Rinku Rajguru is a Marathi film actress and is for her role in the blockbuster movie 'Sairat'. She was born on 3rd of June, in the year 2001 in Akluj, a town in the Solapur district of Maharashtra, India. She is 16 years old. She has acted in two movies as Archi ( Archana ). 'Sairat', which was a Marathi movie and its Kannada remake captioned “Manaus Malliage”. At this small age, she got her name mentioned at the 63rd National film awards for her mind blowing performance in 'Sairat'. She is expected to appear in a new Kannada movie called 'Banjo', soon. Her father Mahadev Rajguru and her mother, both are teachers. She was in the ninth standard when her first movie was released. Now she is in tenth standard.

Kishori Shahane is a renowned folk and classical dancer and a Marathi film actress from India. She was married to Hindi film director, Deepak Balraj Vij. Besides acting, Kishori is also the producer who was part of the film about Sai Baba’s life. 

She studied at Mithibai College in Vile Parle, Mumbai where she was crowned as the Miss Mithibai College in 1990. She initiated her career into Marathi films and gained her popularity through the 1991 blockbuster film, Maherchi Sadi and Wajva Re Wajva. She received praises and recognitions after doing stage plays like the Hindi play, Aadhe Adhure and the Marathi play, Moruchi Mauchi. 

Kishori also appeared in the blockbuster films, Ek Daav Dhobi Pachad and also in Navra Majha Navsacha. Kishori’s husband is a Hindi director who recognized her acting ability. They worked together in films like Hafta Band in 1991, Bomb Blast and few more films. During the set of Hafta Band, the two became closer and eventually got married. Later, she entered the Hindi television serials and worked consistently in the Hindi and Marathi films. She got more fame with her performance in the television serial, Ghar Ek Mandir, Sindoor and the Indian version of Yo Soy Betty, La Fea, Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin on Sony TV. Kishori became a regular face in the television industry and many of her serials were aired on various Indian TV channels. 

Kishori also performed her dancing skills in India and abroad. She also made her music video entitled, Saavan for Venus. After many years, she joined the Mrs. Gladrags Beauty Pageant and became a runner-up in year 2003. As a producer and director, Kishori’s Mohatyachi Renuka got the Best Editing Award in Maharashtra State Award in 2007. She did the Hindi spiritual film, Malik Ek with Jackie Shroff in the main role. 

Kishori worked in over 40 Marathi films like Ek Daaw Dhobi Pacchad, Wajawa Re Wajawa, Atmavishwas, Ekulati Ek, Narbachi Wadi and more. She also did Hindi films like Shirdi Sai Baba, Pyar Ka Devta, Mumbai Godfather, Milenge Milenge, We R Friends, Superstar and more. 

She also did few television serials. She appeared in the Balaji Telefilms’, Kohi Apna Sa on Zee TV. She was also roped in to play as the mother of Vedika and Nihariks in the Hindi serial, Sindoor Tere Naam Ka. She was also seen in television serials like Kabhie To Nazar Milao on Sony TV, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli on Zee TV, Do Dil Ek Jaan on Life OK and more. Later, Kishori stated her career as a filmmaker and producer. In 2007, she even won the Maharastra State Award for the movie Mohatyachi Renuka for best editing. Kishori produced and directed the movie. Later, she made another movie with her husband name Malik Ek, starring Jackie Shroff. The movie didn’t do well at the Box-Office.
