Pushkar Shrotri is an Indian film actor and TV artist and a director who has been active in Bollywood, Marathi films and theatre and TV as well. He has done his graduation from M L Dahanukar College. He has worked in more than 25 movies and is a renowned name in the Marathi Film Industry and has been active in movies since 2003.His work has been highly applauded in Marathi films movies like Haapus and Kay Dyache Bola. His main performances in Bollywood are in the blockbuster Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, and its sequel Lage Raho Munna Bhai as a doctor. In 2009, he co-directed a Marathi film Haay Kaay Naay Kaay. He got critics appreciation for performing as super cop in the Rege (2014) in which he changed his look and style. He played the role of a real life ex police officer Sachin Waze in this new avatar, he had to take permission for this and he got it for the motive of the movie was to increase faith of people in police and he was compared to character Bajirao Singham for his incredible and powerful performance in the movie.
