Annapoorna Lekha Pillai is an upcoming youngster in the Malayalam Television industry. She completed her secondary schooling from Silver Sands School and St. Mary's Girls High School in Cherthala while completing her higher secondary education in Christ Nagar English Higher Secondary School.

She then went to pursuit graduation from the Kerala Law Academy Law College in Trivandrum before entering the television field. She initially started off as an Anchor for Kairali Television, where she found a lot of offers. 

The morning show in the channel called Vaaranthya Kairali where she shared the screen space with names like Amrita Sohan and Ajay Warriar proved to be the first taste of experience for Annapoorna who then went on to do some more shows with Amrita.
