Mata Amritanandamayi Devi is an Indian spiritual leader, guru, and humanitarian who is referred to as a saint by her followers. She was born on September 27th, 1953 and known as Amma. She is an Indian guru from Parayakadavu, Alappad Panchayat, Kollam district in Kerala. In her childhood, she gathered food scraps from her neighbors for her family’s cows and goats.
