She took birth in a Tamil Urdu speaking Muslim family on 3 February 1938, in Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu.Her dream was to become a successful doctor but due to circumstances of illness, she dropped this goal. But her parents were too supportive to her debut on silver screen. From the very childhood, she started learning dance forms, especially in the Bharata Natyam dance form. She made her debut into the Telugu industry via two films 'Jayasimha' (1955) and 'Rojulu Marayi'(1955). She also had a film made in Tamil called 'Kalam Mari Pochu'. All these films were a hit, but she got recognition from the song Eruvaaka Sagaroranno Chinnanna from Rojulu Marayi. At the success party of Rojulu Marayi, Guru Dutt observed her and presented her a film titled CID. she had one of the best debuts into the industry and after watching her performance in CID, this made Guru Dutt to cast her in five films more. She got hit films like Pyaasa, Full Moon by Guru Dutt but after a alleged affair with Guru Dutt which resulted in the breakage of his marriage they both parted ways.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt created a niche for himself as a screenplay, writers and even director as his movies dealt with emotion, pain, sufferings, exploitation and even trauma that was not very regular in arts or commercial cinema. His films always had focused women empowerment( Arth, Kaash, Sir, etc.). Arth and “Saaransh; remains his best film till date. His film story was mostly inspired from his own life. 

Shatrughan sinha is a well known name of the Hindi film industry whose work speaks of his success story. Sinha is an Indian film and television actor, politician, member of rajya sabha cabinet minister of health and family welfare and member of 15th loksabha 2009. He hails from Patna, Bihar but his hometown never proved to be an obstruction in his career. When it was more than difficult for a guy from Bihar to enter the industry, sinha gained large audience and wide popularity. He studied from Patna Science College and later continued his studies from TV and film institute of India, pune. For the last time he was seen in the movie ‘wo aadmi bahut kuch jaanta hai’ that was released in the year 2013. Sinha was also the play back singer of several of his movies. He sung the songs in movies like ‘dost and jwalamukhi’. He also hosted the Bhojpuri version of ‘kaun banega crorepati’ and was seen judging a reality show- great Indian laughter challenge on Indian television. He was named as one of the unconventional actor by ‘rediff’. He is popularly known as shotgun as per his image created by the roles he did in his movies. He was a top most bollywood star during 70’s and 80’s.initially he was accepted as the most perfect villain of that time but later when he came out with a positive image in the movies, he was much more liked by the audience. Shatrughan is the first film star to become the cabinet minister. He is the man of words who can very well convince audience through his oration. Currently he is the acting minister of bhartiya janta party.

Javed Akhtar is an Indian poet, lyricist, film scriptwriter from Bellwood. He is best known for teaming up with Salim Khan. Javed Akhtar came to recognition as a scriptwriter duo of Salim-Javed. Salim-Javed was instrumental in making of Amitabh Bachchan the superstar and 'angry young' image in Indian cinema, While Salim had ideated stories, Javed used to write the dialogues. Javed Saab used to write in Urdu, which was written in Hindi by some assistant writers. In his initial days, Javed was an assistant to Urdu writer and film lyricist Kaifi Azmi. Later, he married Kaifi Azmi’s daughter, Shabana Azmi, after divorcing his first wife, Honey Irani. Javed had married Honey Iran while he met her during the making of Seeta Aur Geeta.

Salim Khan was born in 1935 and he is considered as a popular Indian actor as well as a talented Screenwriter in the Indian film industry. He is an individual who hails from Indore, in the Madhya Pradesh of India. His father was a member of the ‘Police force’. The Salim-Javed screenwriting has been a reason why he has been able to achieve most of his popularity in the industry. He is married to Helen, who is also an actress in India. 

Born in a family that has strong ties in the film industry, it wasn’t too long before Arbaaz Khan jumped into Bollywood. Born in 1967, he started his career as an actor and then decided to switch to the production aspect of films later on.

Arbaaz had big shoes to fill with his older brother, Salman Khan, being a superstar actor. He has held many leading and supporting roles in movies throughout his acting career. He is well known for his supporting roles in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na in which he appeared with his brother Sohail Khan and Dabangg 1 and 2 in which he worked with his other brother Salman Khan. He is currently working on a comedy film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu, alongside Kapil Sharma from Comedy Nights with Kapil.

2010 was a great year for Arbaaz as he ventured into production and established his own production house, Arbaaz Khan Productions. This led to the creation of the blockbuster Dabangg. The movie grossed over US 34 million dollars and won various awards at Filmfare, IIFA, and Zee Cine Awards. This prompted the production of Dabangg 2 which also received a warm welcome in the box office throughout the world.

Arbaaz has a son, Arhaan, with his wife Malaika Arora Khan. Malaika is also an actress and famous for her item numbers most notably for her performance in Dabangg’s “Muni Badnaam Hui”. The two met at a coffee ad shoot and got married in 1998. Arbaaz has two brothers, Salman and Sohail, and two sisters, Arpita and Alvira.
