Parvinder Singh is a stand-up comedian, actor, and content writer who completed his Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in computer science at Guru Nanak Dev University. He anchored The Rising Stars of Comedy, a comedy show tv series that features and gives a national platform to comedians who possess the talent, but their talent is not recognized yet. The one hour fifteen minutes long episode shows the comedy gig of Ashish Kwatra, Kustubh Agarwal, and Dahab Chishti. The show is an NDTV prime talent hunt show. He rose to fame with his stand-up comedy in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge(2017). Reality stand-up comedy series produced by Endemol based on the format where the contestants perform and entertain the judges and the studio audience with their comedy skills. Parvinder can be seen as a finalist in the fifth season of the show, where the judges were Akshay Kumar, Sajid Khan, and Shreyas Talpade. The show has six seasons with a total of 193 episodes.

The show is based on the format where stand-up comedians perform and entertain judges and the studio audience with their comedy skills. Season 5 saw Akshay Kumar, Sajid Khan, and Shreyas Talpade as mentors/ judges. The show has a total of 6 seasons with 193 episodes. Nitesh was the first runner-up in the 5th season of the show.
