GauravGupta is an Indian comedian, dental practitioner, actor, and writer. He is a young and dynamic personality with a lot in his bag. A dentist by the day and comedian by night, one of the few comedians who have established themselves in the circuit but are continuing with their professional jobs. In 2017, his entry into the Great Indian Laughter Challenge changed his career in comedy. He shot to fame rather quickly after that and was soon making an audience for himself. He further rose to the popular stands when his stand-up comedy video 'Being Baniya' went viral. He shared the video with some of the corporate houses, and an anonymous person downloaded and shared the video on Whatsapp. Although this was purely accidental and non-permitted, he is grateful to this anonymous person for being such a major determiner in his career.

Gaurav has a certain genre to his comedy and basically revolves his jokes around his caste and its stereotypes. He has also toured several Indian cities for his solo stand-up special "Not Just Baniya." Over the years, he has won several awards for his comedy and has won several competitions over years. Some of those include the winner of the 94.3 Radio one FM LOL Contest(2015), Piano Man Tongue in Cheek, and the winner of Chalta Hai Comedy.
