Soumi Chakraborty is a recognised TV actress from India, especially famous among the Bangla television audience. She was born on the 3rd of May. She also pursued Accounts Honours for higher education. Soumi is famous for her role in Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni, a Bengali historical drama television series which aired on Bengali Entertainment Channel Zee Bangla. It premiered on July 24, 2017. In the series, Soumi plays the role of Kamala, who is the wife of Mahendranath, the grandson of Rani Rashmoni. She is also known for her roles in other TV series like Pilu (2022), where she plays the role of Raima Mukhopadhyay aka Rai, Mahapeeth Tarapeeth (2019) as Yogini, Raadha (2016) as Beena, and Kadambini (2020) as Sarala Roy (Das).
