Plot

Surya lost his father at an early age and his mother cares him and his sister. Surya has a close friend Mahesh, who is entirely different from his character. Surya’s mom doesn’t like him. Although both of them are different in their characters, they have a good understanding. Mahesh loves Surya’s sister, who is a doctor. Surya’s mother hates their relationship. All of a sudden, a police complaint had been lodged against Mahesh for shattering a real estate office. Surya struggles to save his friend. Surya finds out that something strange behind the incident. A ruthless villain gang has been doing criminal activities and to cover it up, they have created a scene. Did Surya save his friend? Watch the exciting action entertainer on the silver screens.

Star Performance

Sundeep has played superbly. Vikranth, who makes his debut, has done his role with perfection. Mehrene has done justice to her role, although she has been given a limited role. Harish Uthaman, Thagubothu Ramesh and Tulasi have done their parts well, as directed by Suseenthiran.

Analysis

This is the usual genre of Suseenthiran. The social message entertainer attracts the audiences with the interesting elements. Imman’s songs didn't impress, but his background score has done an excellent job. Sundeep, who has been longing for a hit, has once again proved his versatility in playing such roles.

What’s There?

Performance by the lead stars is laudable
Imman’s BGM is commendable
Comedy works out well
Cinematography is one of the positives in this movie
Second half is much impressive

What’s Not There?

Mehrene absconds in the second half
Certain scenes should have been cut

Verdict

C/ O Surya comes with a good social message. With the good performance by the stars and the neat execution by the director, the film is definitely worth watching.
