Jyoti Nooran is a Punjabi Sufi singer and the sister of Sultana Nooran. The sister’s duo became popular around the country and internationally. They rose to fame after their performance of the super hit song Tung Tung at the MTV Sound Tripping. Jyoti was born on February 24, 1994 in Jalandhar, India.

Shreya Ghoshal, one of the most famous singers in Bollywood today, was born on March 12th, 1984, in Berhampore, West Bengal. Her father Biswajit Ghoshal is an electrical engineer and mother Sharmistha Ghoshal is a postgraduate in literature. She started singing since the age of 4 when her mother taught her. She started her formal training in Hindustani classical Gharana of music when she was only six years old. She was trained for 18 months after which she continued her training in Mumbai with Late Mukta Bhideji. She completed her graduation in Arts with majors in English. Her first on-stage performance was at their club’s annual function. Her first studio album was in Bengali in 19998 and was named Bendhechhi Beena, and her first onscreen performance was in Awaz Nayi Andaaz Wohi. In 1995, she became the winner of All India Light Vocal Music Competition. Her fame and career began with her winning a television singing reality show named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Shanoo Sharma is a newcomer Bollywood film industry. A famous casting director for Yash Raj films, Shanoo Sharma took her first step into this job while she was injured and bedridden. It might be surprising to people, but this is indeed a real story, says the always engaged Sharma. Sameer Sharma, her brother, played the role of getting Shanoo her first real opportunity to work as a Casting Director. Shanoo began working for Sudhir Mishra and got him the new faces he was looking for his project ‘Khoya Khoya Chaand’. Her career took off from here. 
Shanoo Sharma, who later worked for Karan Johar, has made quite a name for herself. Getting an audition or a screen test is regarded as getting an appointment with Obama! After that, her association with YRF started and she has brought out some great talents to the industry. Sharma is believed to have that gifted talent of picking the right and perfect actor for the right role. But it should also be considered that she has so much exposure in art and creativity, and she possessed impeccable skills in putting a face to the character. 
Working for YRF is no joke and neither does Shanoo takes it lightly. She has admitted in many interviews how she has to go through a minimum of 100 profiles every day; how her every day goes by looking at many faces and the search for that perfect combination of talent and beauty is always on. It’s a manhunt and Shanoo gives her full time to it, as she believes it is a great responsibility for her to find the perfect talent.  
Shanoo feels it is equally important to find a great supporting cast, and she strives to find one. She says she reads the script with the directors and producers and her hunt to cast for the roles begins from there. She is always credited for her incredible finds like Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and Parineeti Chopra. Each actor was cast by Shanoo through fair means of auditioning and screen tests. Till date, Ranveer Singh is very grateful to Shanoo for having given him an opportunity. It is said that Ranveer was 17 when Shanoo found him and suggested to Aditya Chopra for casting in ‘Band Baaja Baarat.’ Apparently her finds of talent are respected greatly by Aditya Chopra and carries weight. 
This 30-something personality has proved herself that she can handle this job of being a great Casting Director by associating herself to one of the biggest production houses called Yash Raj Films. This alone speaks volumes of her work. She has also found some great talents like Saqib Saleem, Saba Azad, Swara Bhaskar and Bhumi Pednekar. Her current casting project of Sultan is the one to look for now. Fan is her project which has King Khan- Shah Rukh Khan in it. If we watch Fan movie, we see some fresh faces as SRK’s assistant who catches our attention. It is this delicate work of Shanoo that we can subtly observe in her movies projects. Shanoo has dedicated herself to YRF for more than six years giving her best through movies like Fan, Kurbaan; My Name Is Khan, Band Baaja Baarat, and others. 
Born into a simple family, Shanoo’s father was an hotelier and mother was a dentist. She has a brother Sameer, who is the only personal connection in the film industry. Her early days were spent at her father’s hotel and interacting with people there. She got opportunities to meet different kinds of people and somehow was talented at helping with their queries and issues. She had that ability to tell people what is going well for them and what suits them and what is appropriate for them. That is how curious and well-informed was Shanoo. Her plan for life is to get married soon (or in two years) and have her own children and be a homemaker. However, she admits that she does not have a man in her life right now, but her social media accounts say her ambition of becoming a ‘homemaker.’ She lives with her brother, her grandmother at her apartment in Mumbai currently.
Shanoo is frequently asked about the casting couch scenarios and her take on the whole controversial issue. She clearly denies it altogether.  But this strong woman is against all that and never hesitates to answer such questions. She says she was caught in some rumors and that she was involved with people (from the industry), and that is when she reaches out to her brother and seeks his help. She also tells that she had given  her assistants’ names up on the web so that no fake accounts can fool people asking for inappropriate favors from the newbies. She still tells the newcomers that anybody can be cast and that they have to be felt appropriate by the casting team. She encourages them and is very clear on how the whole process works. Perhaps this is one of the reasons she is the most sought after Casting Director in the industry.  
In her interviews, Shanoo is very candid and always radiates great energy. She opens up about the times when her job goes wrong. When she feels she has not done a great casting she is upset with herself. As much as she is appreciated for her talent hunt, she also feels the need to be better when she looks at her failure. She takes this job close to heart and is always searching for fresh and new faces, be it traffic signals or night clubs. She recently finished casting for the movie Befikri and Meri Pyari Bindu. She has many projects at hand, and her work comes first all the time. It's not just a beautiful face or six packs she is looking for, but a perfect blend of talent, face and screen presence. We can all see that in her movies like Dam Laga Ke Haisha where Shanoo cast the female lead  Bhumi Pednekar. Audience noticed that face and loved the character. Shanoo believes casting provides a solid backbone support to a movie and that she gives life to the movies.

Brigitte Yaghi is a singer predominantly working in the Lebanese Music Industry. She was born on 19^th November 1987 in Beirut, Lebanon. She is the daughter of Abdo Yaghi, a prominent Lebanese singer. Brigitte was inclined towards music from a very young age. At the age of sixteen, she took part in the singing show “Super Star.” She was declared as the 4^th runner-up. She debuted as a singer in the 2009 single “Alby W Omry.” Ray Kay directed the music video. The song was well-received and became quite famous. Leepakshi Ellawadi is a Bollywood costume designer with a long history in the industry. She began her career as a development stylist in the Bollywood industry in 2011 with the film "Bbuddha... Hoga Tera Baap." She designed costumes for well-known Bollywood stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Sonu Sood, and Prakash Raj in that film. She is likely to become one of several well-known Bollywood costume designers who has worked with well-known Bollywood actors. She worked for films such as Enterprise Man, Bewakoofiyan, Mirzya, Tubelight, and others over the years. Ali Abbas Zafar is a popular Indian actor, Director, Art Director and Screen Writer. He lived in Dehradun, Uttarkhand during his early life. He then graduated to work with the Maestro ‘Yash Raj films’. He moved to Mumbai, which is his dreamland. He started off as an Assistant director for ‘Vijay Krishna Acharya’ and ‘Sanjay Gandhvi’. Although he was a meritorious student throughout his educational journey, filmmaking was in his veins, and that is why he chose to follow his father's footsteps. He became an executive producer when Dhoom-2 was released followed by Chak De India. Neelesh Misra is an Indian director, author, writer, photographer, radio presenter and journalist. Neelesh was born on 5th May 1973 in Nainital, Uttarakhand. Julius Packiam is an Indian Music Composer. He works in the Bollywood Film Industry. Julius started his career as a Music Composer with the film Kabul Express (2006) by Kabir Khan. The film has John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Salman Shahid, and Linda Arsenio as the main roles. Kabir Khan was very much impressed by his work in the film Kabul Express and he gave many more offers to Julius in his films. He worked with Kabir Khan in the films New York (2009), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Phantom (2015), and Tubelight (2017). Julius also collaborated with Ali Abbas Zafar for most of his films like Gunday (2014), Sultan (2016), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and Bharat (2019).

Shekhar Ravjiani is a renowned Indian music director, composer, and singer. Shekhar was born on 29th November 1978 in Kutch district of Gujarat State. He was born to a share trader named Hasmukh Ravjiani; who always supported Shekhar to pursue his passion of music. Shekhar had a flair for music right from his childhood, and he had received training in music under the mentorship of Ustad Niaz Ahmed Khan. After getting trained, he took part in the reality singing talent show “Sa- Re- Ga- Ma- Pa” and got huge recognition through it. Shekhar went on to debut in Bollywood as a composer for the movie “Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi”. Shekhar reached new heights of success in music industry once he started composing with another great music maestro, Vishal Dadlani. Their duo, popularly known as “Vishal-Shekhar” won RD Burman award for budding talents for their composition and this strengthened their bond. Vishal Dadlani mostly known by duo name Vishal Shekhar in the music world. Vishal is an Indian film music director. He not only composes music in Hindi, but equally famous for composing music in Telegu, Tamil, or in Marathi. Actually dedication brings success to a person and Vishal Dadlani has justified his talent by giving various types of music. Vishal was born on 28th June 1973 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He first came to the limelight when he composed the movie songs in the films ‘Jhanker Beats’, ’Dus’, ’ Bluffmaster’, ’Om Shanti Om’, ‘Bachna Ae Haseena’, ’Dostana’, ‘Anjana Anjani’ and many such famous filmy songs, the present genres caller tunes or ring tones. Vishal Dadlani was the vocalist of Mumbai based electronic band Pentagram. He worked jointly with Imogen Heap for the song ‘Mind Without Fear’, for an episode of ‘The Dewarists’. His latest appearance in the show ‘Indian Idol’ has gathered a motion to attract people for the show. Vishal has done a cameo role in the films ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Tees Maar Khan’. Irshad Kamil is an Indian lyricist and poet who came to prominence with his work in Bollywood movies. He was born in Punjab as a Punjabi Muslim on 5 September 1971. After completing his Diploma in Journalism from Punjab University, he also completed a Ph.D. in contemporary Hindi poetry and a Post Graduation in Hindi language; he chose journalism as his career and joined a newspaper ‘Tribune’ in Chandigarh and covered entertainment and educational news. During this period, he also interviewed actors like Pooja Bhatt and Manoj Bajpayee. He then worked even in a Hindi newspaper and was involved in desk jobs. However, right from childhood, he had a unique sense to understand his life’s decisions and knew well how he has to choose his career. Soon, he left his journalism job and then did his Ph.D. and was given the offer to teach. But his refusal to become a teacher proved a turning point in his life. He met producer and director Lekh Tandon, who came to Chandigarh to shoot for TV and was looking for a writer. On Tandon’s advice, he came to Mumbai and started writing for TV. Dissatisfied with his career in TV again, he left behind his journey as a writer and was a lookout for a job as a lyricist in the film industry. 

Named Muhammad Atif Aslam when he was born, he is famously known as Atif Aslam. He started off his career as a pop singer in Pakistan and has made his way into Bollywood as a playback singer. He has also made cameo appearances in Indian films along with starring in Pakistani film Bol in 2011. 

Born in Wazirabad, Pakistan Atif moved to Rawalpindi where he pursued his studies. He moved back to Lahore and attended Punjab College from where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree. Asif was an avid cricket fan and hoped to play cricket for the Pakistani national team but when that didn’t pan out he began singing. He formed a band, Jal, and recorded his first song “Aadat” spending his own money. The song became an instant hit online and was one of the biggest hit at the time. He released his first album Jal Pari which featured “Bheegi Yaadein” which was featured in the Indian movie Zeher by the name “Woh Lamhe”.

Asif continued his solo musical career after he left Jal and worked on two albums, Doorie and Meri Kahani. He performed in sold out concerts at home and internationally touring U.S. and Canada. In 2006 he recorded Tere Bin for the Indian movie Bas Ek Pal. He won Best Playback Singer (Male) at the Filmfare Award for Tere Bin. He continued to lend his vocals for Indian movies and sung songs for Race 1 and 2, among other films. 

Atif is currently married to Sara Bharwana, his long-time school girlfriend. He broke many hearts when he tied the knot with her in 2013.

Sukhwinder Singh, an asset to the Bollywood Music Industry, was born on 18th July 1971. He is a playback singer, who is quite active from the year 1992 until the present. There are a huge number of his fan followers, and he is gifted with an incredible voice. Apart from any element in any aspect of film making, songs sung by him made a phenomenal difference in its success. He has sung some outstanding numbers in the Bollywood film industry in the late nineties.

Dileep Subramanian is an Indian Sound engineer who is well known for his work as a sound designer in movies such as Rockstar, Mausam, Sultan, Shamitabh, Brothers, Tamasha, and much more. Dileep Subramanian has predominantly worked in Hindi Film Industry. He was born in Kerala where he completed his education. Dileep Subramanian was too fond of working in Film Industry. When he was in his school, he used to join “Rangamanch Karyakaram” team during weekends, who used to play in the public theatres. He is an important member of the sound department in any movie he worked in. He had worked in many films, TV series, documentary, and short films in various formats. He decided to join Indian Film Industry at a very young age, and since then has worked in over 30 films. He made his debut as a sound assistant in the movie Aakhree Rasta., directed by Bhagyaraj, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, Jaya Prada, Om Shivpuri, Anupam Kher, and many more.

Karan Sanchala is a Bollywood musician, Foley Editor, Sound Effects Editor, Assistant Sound Re-recording Mixer, and Sound Editor. He also plays guitar for the bands Kalotropis and Apocryphal, and he is the leader of the band Apocryphal, which has released albums such as Nightmare, Traumatized, and Set Me Free. Karan Sanchala has appeared in films such as Laal Singh Chaddha (2022), Tiger Lives (2017), and Sherni (2021). He also received the Best Sound Design award for his work on the short film Homeless. Karan worked on the Telugu film Ranarangam as a sound editor. He has created a tribute song for Daler Mehndi on his YouTube channel.

Mukesh Chhabra was born on 27th May 1980 in Mumbai of Maharashtra state. He is a very popular actor as well as a director, and he is the director of acting workshop too. He is active in the Bollywood film industry right from the year 2000 until the present. He also works in casting the actors for the movies and came up with successful casts as a whole. He did casting for prominent movies like Chillar Party, Kai Po Che, Gangs of Wasseypur, and D-Day. They were commercially successful movies, and the casting is quite apt and perfect.

Salman Khan is a very famous Indian actor and a producer. He was born as Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan on December 27, 1965 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. Salman is referred to as one of the most successful actors in Bollywood. His father is Salim Khan who is also an actor and a screenwriter while his mother is Sushila Charak (Salma Khan). Angad Singh Bedi is an Indian actor and model. He was born on 6th of February 1983 in New Delhi. He also plays cricket, and he bats right-handed. While growing up, he studied at Bishop Cotton School in Shimla, and then after completing his education, he went on to study at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. Because he was unable to tow the line of his father’s success as a cricketer, he ventured into modeling and also took up a career as an actor. Angad Bedi made his acting debut in a Malayalam short story ‘Kaya Taran’. He is currently doing a movie titled ‘The Little Godfather’.

Born on 19th May 1938, Girish Raghunath Karnad is a multi-faceted artiste; he is not only an actor, but also a writer, director and playwright. He has mainly worked in South Indian films. He was awarded the Jnanpith Award during 1998; this award is the highest literary recognition in India. Girish Karnad has been working on plays for around 40 years. His subject of interest is mythology and history. He has also done translation of his plays into English language. Moreover, his translated plays in regional languages were directed by many directors. 

During the 60s Karnad was an outstanding playwright and Kannada world witnessed Modern Indian playwrighting through him. Kannada literature was carried away by the Western literature during the time when Karnad stepped into writing plays. Here, then Karnad used historical and mythological sources to handle contemporary issues. “Yayati”, his first play, condemns life’s ironies with the help of characters in Mahabharata. This new theme got immediate response and was much appreciated. Another play of his, Tughlaq, made Karnad as one of the worthy playwrights to look out for. 

Girish Karnad is most prominent in Hindi and Kannada industry. He has Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan to his credit and he is also the proud recipient of 4 Film Fare awards. Karnad has worked in Hindi movies including Godhuliand, Utsav and Pukar. His film titled Kanooru Heggaditi received critical recognition. It is the adaptation of a novel of Kannada writer. 

Girish Karnad had donned various roles in his career and he adopted writing as a full-time career for some time. He is known for his narration in the famous audio book series for children, Karadi Tales. He has also voiced Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in the audio book “Wings of Fire”.

Ivan Sylvester Roadrigues is a film, and theatre actor. He was born on 23 November 1968 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His wife’s name is Andrea Rodrigues and his child’s name is Jeremiah Rodrigues. His parents Nancy and Robert belong originally to Mangalore, Karnataka. Ivan did his high school from St. Michael High School, Mahim in 1984 with the second rank in school. He did B.Com. from Sydenham College in 1989 and later did M.B.A. in Marketing from S.P. Jain in 1991.

Kumud Mishra is a well-known name in the arena of Indian theatre, due to his versatile acting talent. He got this knack from his father, who was a stage actor too. Also, two of his teachers in Belgaum Military School of Karnataka, Mr. Pathare and Mr. Janardhan embedded the love of acting in young Kumud and inspired him a lot, with their enthusiasm in conducting various stage plays at school. 

After completion of school education, he returned home at Bhopal and attended college there to do his graduation, with History and Political Science as major subjects. But here he got the scope to work on stage with various renowned theatre personalities and acted under the guidance of the expert stage directors, like Alok Nandan, Sachin Tiwari, John Martin and Irfan Saurabh. Later, he joined Prabhat Ganguly’s ‘The Little Ballet Theatre’, on behalf of which he participated in the Festival of India, in USSR in 1989. 

Then he decided to polish his skill of acting by doing a Diploma course in Acting from National School of Drama in 1990 – ’91. Consequently, he shifted to Mumbai, to try his luck there, in 1994. Here, he rose to fame by acting in several plays; among them the most notable ones are Medha and Zoombish by Ramu Ramanathan and Shakkar Ke Paanch Daane by Manav Kaul. His superb performance in Ramu Ramanathan’s play ‘Cotton 56 Polyester 84’ has earned him Best Play Award in 2006, from META.

Moreover, he has acted in Bollywood films, like Sardari Begum, 1971, Patiala House, Rock Star, Filmistaan, Raanjhanaa, Revolver Rani and very recently released Badlapur. Another of his film named Bangistan is waiting for release in this year.

Nawab Shah is an Indian TV and film actor who started his career with small and minor roles with nondescript characters in TV serials. He was first noticed in the serial Saarathi on Star Plus during 2004. it was produced by Neela Telefilms and directed by Qayeed Kuwajerwala.
