Meghna Gulzar is among the few female directors in Indian cinema. And this talented lady doesn’t have a belief on feminism. Meghna Gulzar is the daughter of prominent lyricist, screenwriter and director Gulzar. Renowned yesteryear actress Rakhee is her mother. 

Born on 13 December 1973, Meghna made her directorial debut with the 2002 flick Filhaal, which had Sushmita Sen, Tabu, Palash Sen and Sanjay Suri sharing screen space. This film was critically well received. Filhaal delved into the sensitive topic as a surrogate mother. But the movie was not a commercial success. Poranmasi (short film) and Just Married are the other directorial ventures of Meghna. Just Married deals with the initial days of a newly married couple. 

Meghna kick started her career in writing, by donning the role of freelance writer for Times of India. She was also associated with NFDC publication Cinema India. 

Meghna wanted to produce films the way she wanted. Meghna feels that there should be development in a film maker’s career, otherwise there is no point in making films. 

Meghna has written a biography about her talented father Gulzar.This book follows her father’s hardship days and also his successful tenure in the Hindi film industry. Creativity is in the genes and this lady has got it from her father. She had also written poems and they have been published. 

Meghna didn’t take her film career easy; before venturing into it, she did documentaries and music videos. Also, she did an international production course on movies. She in fact, helped her father in Hu Tu Tu. 

Meghna is quite an introvert, but is known to be a hard task master in the sets. Meghna is wedded to a banker named Govind Sandhu. At present she is working on a work which falls under the production of Vishal Bharadwaj and her father Gulzar.

Sanya Malhotra is an actress and choreographer and is new to the Bollywood industry. She is a professional ballet dancer. She is well-known for the recent blockbuster movie named “Dangal” which was released in the year 2016 starring Aamir Khan in the lead role. Sanya got popular for this movie only. She has played the role of Aamir Khan’s daughter in the movie. She has got this role after a lot of struggle. She has given many auditions. Now, she wants to work with Ranbir Kapoor. Sanya Malhotra was born in Delhi, India on 27th of February. Her height is 5’5 inches.

Fatima Sana Shaikh is an actress of Andhra origin. She grew up as a child artiste. Her first offer was in the film, ‘Chachi 420’, where she played the beloved daughter to Tabu and Kamal Haasan.

Abhinay Raj Singh is an Indian actor and rapper from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was born on 14 July, 1994 in Mumbai. He predominantly acts and sings in Hindi language films. Abhinay completed his education in Mumbai from the University of Mumbai. He completed his Bachelor of Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management. Apart from being an actor and rapper, he's also a filmmaker, producer, lyricist, singer, and entrepreneur. Abhinay officially started his film career in 2008.

Born in the city of Mumbai to a family of Parsi religion, Rohinton Soli Screwvala is an Indian philanthropist, entrepreneur, CEO, and founder of UTV Group, which included Bloomberg UTV, UTV Software Communications, etc. Since school time Ronnie had an interest in films and theater. He also acted in some skits in Bombay theater like Alyque Padamsee and Pearl. But he did not like working for others, so his stage career ended as he wished to initiate his business. Ronnie started on a small scale in the year 1981.

Ehsaan Noorani is one of the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio, composing of three talented Indian musicians namely Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan himself and Loy Mendonsa. He is a popular music composer and guitarist. 

Ehsaan was born on October 12, 1963 in Hyderabad, India. He grew up in a place instilled with appreciation to different music genres at an early age. At 14, he started learning guitar under the teaching of Bismarck Rodriguez in Mumbai. During the mid 80’s, he attended the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT), which is known as MI now. This became the turning point of his life as a musician as he slowly began to progress as a guitarist with huge potentials. He considered this period as ‘the best years of his life’. He went to Los Angeles, which is known to be the Music Capital of the World, and showed himself to the great musicians like Larry Carlton, Robben Ford and many more. 

Ehsaan was influenced by the famous bands of the 70’s like Pink Floyd, Led Zepellin, Wishbone Ash, Santana and Deep Purple. Since then, he became inclined and fond to the Blues; something about the genre has caught his whim and he continues to hold into it until today. He listened to BB King, Johnny Winter, Eric Clapton and Robert Ford to help him in shaping up his Blues vocabulary and become a stepping-stone to his improvisation. 

When he returned to India, he worked with coposers like Louiz Banks for several advertising commercials and continues to create trends to the industry with his captivating tunes, expertise in guitar and his cleverness in music. This led him to compose music for commercials and just before he knew it, he was brainstorming with Shankar and Loy. The trio started to compose music for films and they were known as SEL. 

Composing music for films and commercials had helped him to experiment in various music styles like blues, metal, electronic, rock and country, but his heart is still fond of doing Blues and until now, he is still performing with his band called Apostrophe. 

Ehsaan together with Shankar Mahadevan have lent their vocals to several songs, including Yeh Dil Deewana from the 1997 Bollywod film Pardes, Vande Mataram from the 2000 comedy-drama film Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi from the romantic comedy film Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge. He also lent his guitar pieces to songs made by many music directors like Vishal Shekhar for the songs Bin Tere and Sadka Kiya from the box-office hit film, I Hate Luv Storys and Small Town Girl from the rom-com film Bachna Ae Haseeno. 

To prove his mettle in the world of music, Ehsaan has won several accolades in his entire career for his work in films like Kai Ho Naa Ho, Bunty Aur Babli, Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho and Mission Kashmir.

Loy Mendonsa is an Indian pianist, musician, and singer. He is more renowned as the member of the trio group Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, which he co-founded with singer Shankar Mahadevan and guitarist-singer Ehsaan Noorani. His career initially began for Doordarshan productions, where he composed the theme song of “The World This Week” show. Before the formation of his trio group, Loy has worked with the Indian music great A.R.Rahman and Nadeem-Shravan.

Shankar Mahadevan, a well-renowned, talented and famous music composer, and singer. An accomplished musician in Tamil cinema, he is a part of the Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio team that provides music to Bollywood and other International films. He has won various Indian and multiple National Film Award. His most famous albums include, “Breathless“- Album that first gave him fame, including the song, "Breathless," in which he sings throughout the whole song without pausing to breathe and “Nine” - Nine is Shankar's most recent album. Each song is a representation of a "mood," including joy, sadness, love, etc. He was also invited by UNESCO and the US State Department to perform at the UN General Assembly Hall for the finale of the International Jazz Festival on 30 April 2012 which is a thing of pride. Shankar has always considered himself as a restless student wanting to learn more every time. He says he’s thirsty and want to learn every time and experiment with something new. He wants to be a perfectionist. Shanker also feels that Karnatak music is the most powerful form of music and he himself started with Karnataka classic which he says is the best to create a prominent base for music. Music is the thing which excites Shanker the most, and he would always be attached to it. Personal Life: Shanker Mahadevan was born in Chennai to a Tamil family but was later brought to Mumbai and was raised there. Being born into a Tamil family and later raised in Mumbai, he knows both Hindi and Tamil language but is not well versed with Tamil and Malayalam. He finished his schooling from OLPS High School in Chembur and his engineering in computer science from R.A.I.T (D Y Patil, Navi Mumbai). His wife, Sangeeta is Maharashtrian and oldest son Siddharth Mahadevan. Also, a singer, made his debut on the 2013 Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’s song, Zinda. Shankar’s youngest son, Shivam Mahadevan, also a singer made his debut in 2013 in the movie Dhoom 3’s song, Bande Hain Hum Uske. Mahadevan is fluent in Marathi, Tamil, Hindi, Urdu and English.

Edward Sonnenblick, an American who can speak in both Hindi and broken Marathi, became popular in India after his performance in the 2011 Marathi film, Gajaar – The Journey of a Soul. This film won several awards and nominations, produced by Sunill Khosla, who adapted the film to Hindi and has been entitled as Mokssh – The Journey of a Soul. 

Edward was from Cupertino, California, who’s working as a chef. He loved cooking food for large group of people, but somewhere in his heart, he knows that he should really enter the glamour world of the film industry. Edward never thought of leaving his own country, but one day, after watching the film Lagaan, he was astounded by it and since then, he started watching Bollywood films and read several books about India. He even learned how to speak Hindi through a lesson book. In year 2005, he decided to fly to India and completely fell in love with the country. During that time, Edward was into Vipassana meditation, one of the oldest meditation technique in India that was rediscovered for over 2,500 years ago by Gotama Buddha. So it is also a big draw for him that India has lots of Vipassana centers. 

When he returned to India in the year 2007, he already had an intention of starting his acting career in the country. Things worked out the way he wanted it to be and he started doing what he loves to do. 

In 2009, Edward played as Captain James Manson and Captain John W. Nelson in the historical drama serial, Jhansi Ki Rani, broadcasted on Zee TV. In 2010, he was seen in the Hindi romance film Anjaana Anjaani, which stars Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor. Then in 2011, he became part of the Sunny Deol-starrer, Yamla Pagla Deewana. In the same year, he also appeared in the Telugu historical film, Rajanna as Governor Curzon, which stars Nagarjuna, but his biggest break came when he played a significant role as Eric, a Anthropology researcher, in the award-winning film, Gajaar – The Journey of a Soul. In year 2012, Edward was seen as a collector in another Nagarjuna-starrer entitled Shirdi Sai, followed by the historical war drama film Chittagong, where he played as Col. Tait. He also donned an episodic in the television series, Darr Ki Sachchi Tasveerein in the same year. 

Besides living in the country he loves the most, he also got the chance to meet his one true love, Sonal Mehta, a short film maker. They got married on March 18, 2010.

KrishnaKant Singh Bundela is an actor of Indian origins. He is currently based in Mumbai and is working with Jay Production India. Krishna Kant belongs to the city of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, India. He completed his schooling and graduated from Jabalpur. He went to Prestige Institute of Management Dewas for his Master’s degree in Human Resources Management. Later he started teaching for a short while. Rajiv Kachroo is an Indian movie actor who was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra and went to Ness Wadia College of Commerce, Pune, Maharashtra and G.M. College, Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.
