Plot

Pratap Ravi is at his maximum power as he successfully takes revenge of his father’s and brother’s death. Pratap’s success is narrated all over the state, but there is one man who wants to bring Pratap down. Suriya Reddy wants to seek revenge for the loss of his family which was because of Pratap placing a bomb in his house. He makes multiple attempts to kill Pratap but, the latter manages to escape every time. Pratap is informed about Suriya’s intentions, he orders his men to kill him but, unfortunate for Pratap he manages to escape.

Since Pratap is in power, he with the help of DCP gets Suriya arrested. Suriya is to jail for a killing Pratap’s ally in front of the judge. Pratap decides to kill Suriya in jail but fails again. Pratap decides to stop this blood game and approaches Suriya to compromise, but he refuses. Suriya with the help of Krishnaswamy plans to kill Pratap. Krishnaswamy is another leader who wants to kill Pratap to claim maximum power.

Pratap arranges a meeting with fellow ministers to plan something, but Suriya comes there to shoot Pratap multiple times. Pratap dies in his wife’s arm. Suriya meanwhile, returns to the prison as if he had not done anything. The movie is filled with emotions and brutality. The film ends with Nandhini played by Radhika Apte Radhika Apte, an Indian actress was born on Sept 7 >> Read More... giving birth to Pratap’s child. You will be shocked to some scenes in the movie. Ram Gopal Verma has redefined the definition of REVENGE.

Vivek Oberoi Vivek Anand Oberoi's birth was on 3rd Septembe >> Read More... and Sudeep are stunning. Suriya uses his body language and intense eyes to convey what he feels and is just amazing. Other actors do what is required of them.

Analysis

Vivek Oberoi is again the man in the film but this time around Pratap’s murder is the motive. Tamil superstar Suriya as Suriya Reddy wants to kill Pratap to avenge the death of his family. Tollywood star Priyamani plays the wife of Suriya as Bhavani Reddy. Ajaz Khan Ajaz Khan is a very popular model and radio jockey >> Read More... features in a very small role. There are many other character artist who feature in each of their roles. The film has the same crew.

What’s there?

The first half of Raktha Charitra 2 is highly engrossing.
The dialogues and screenplay are simply amazing.
Cinematography is outstanding.

What’s not there?

The second half is not as intriguing as the first half.

Verdict

Shooting down people, drilling their heads, slitting off throats this all Rakta Charitra 2 offers. However, it has dealt with hatred in a different manner.

The story in part two is as breathe taking as the first one but was heavily criticized for its run time. Ignoring such elements, Rakta Charitra is a much watch as it gives you an inside of politics in Andhra Pradesh.
