Sooraj Rajkumar Barjatya, also known as Sooraj Barjatya is born on 22nd February 1964, in Mumbai. He is an Indian Filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, and distributor. He is predominantly working in the Indian Cinema. He has attended the St. Mary’s School in Mumbai and The Scindia School in Gwalior. He got married to Vineeta Barjatya in the year 1986. He has three children. Barjatya also owns a restaurant named Spice and Sweet, located in Bandra. He began as an assistant director to Mahesh Bhatt. He made his debut as a director, at the age of 24, with the movie Maine Pyar Kiya, in the year 1989. It was a movie based on friendship and love, with Salman Khan. The move was a huge hit in the box office and this served as the ladder of success for both Salman and Barjatya. Later, this movie won the Most Sensational Debut of the Year award. His second, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, starring Salman Khan, in the year 1994, was a blockbuster on the screen. Hum Saath Saath Hai, the family story, was a huge hit too. V. Manikandan, an Indian cinematographer, was born on January 13, 1968, at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. His brother is a National Awardee Artist, V. Jeevananthan, for his book Thiraicheelai on Cinema at the National Film Award 2010. He has filled in as the cinematographer for various significant box office hits in Hindi and Tamil. He is an acclaimed advertisement film cinematographer with more than 3,000 promotion movies to his credit. He began his profession in Tamil films. His debut film was ‘Atharman’ (Tamil) in 1994. In the next two years, he worked in Tamil movies ‘Sarigamapathani’ (1995), ‘Sengottai’ (1996), and ‘Mr. Romeo’ (1996).
