Tabu is a wonderful gift to the Indian cinema. She is a good performer in Tamil, English, Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali and Telugu films. Tabu was born in Hyderabad to Rizwana and Jamal Hashmi. After her schooling, she went to Mumbai to do her graduation. She appeared in small roles in the Hindi films. Her official debut as a heroine is in a Telugu film opposite Venakatesh in Coolie No. 1. In 1987, Tabu was booked in Prem with Sanjay Kapoor. The film was a flop, but Tabu got good market in Hindi as well as South Indian films. After some flop movies, Tabu was identified well for her performances in Saajan Chale Sasural and Jeet. She got the National Award for the Best Actress for performing in Maachis. After that, she performed in Kaalapani opposite to Mohan Lal. This film was a super hit and Tabu was accepted in the south Indian film industry. Her first Tamil movie was Kaadhal Desam in which Abbas made his debut. Consecutively she got good roles in Snehithiye and Kandukonden Kandukonden, the blockbuster Tamil movies. Snehithiye was led by Jyotika, in which Tabu had a great role as a Police Officer. She has done justice to the role given to her. Similarly, in Kandukonden Kandukonden, she performed extremely well with Ajith Kumar, Mammooty and Aishwarya Rai. In 2001, she acted in the Hindi film Chandni Bar, which acclaimed her the Best Actress and won the National Award for her. 2. Shraddha Kapoor
Shraddha Kapoor, born on March 3rd, 1989, is a young emerging actress of Hindi Film Industry. She is the daughter of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor and niece of famous actress Padmini Kolhapure. Shraddha started her acting career in the year 2010 with a film called Teen Patti which had Amitabh Bachchan, Ben Kingsley and R. Madhavan in it. Though the film did not do well at the box office, her performance got some attention. Her second film was Luv Ka the End (a teen comedy), opposite Taaha Shah, which failed to perform at the box office but Shraddha’s performance in the movie was very well appreciated by the film critics. 3. Vishal Bhardwaj
The most outstanding of a successful film producer, director, writer, screenplay writer, music composer and playback singer, is Vishal Bhardwaj, who has successfully crossover in India and abroad by his versatile genius. He is a blissful child of goddess Saraswati. He was born on 4th August, 1965 in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. His father Ram Bhardwaj, a poet and lyricist is a government official. At his young age Vishal came to Delhi for completing his education, and there he nourished his musical passion. Bhardwaj started his career by playing harmonium for less known Ghazal singers in Delhi Pragati Maidan at food fairs. He came up on TV serials collaborated with Gulzar and they aired ‘The Jungle Book’, ’Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Gubbare’. In 2014 Bhardwaj directed ‘Haider’, which was nominated at the 19th Busan Internation Film Festival. The film evoked applaud from critics and audiences alike. This film was also selected for the Rome Film Festival, where it won the ‘People’s Choice Award and it was the first Indian film to this credit. Bhardwaj came to Mumbai to become a music composer, but he selected to directing film only to get the opportunity to compose music. He was very much influenced by Shakespeare’s dramas, and the result is, he had directed famous movies based on Shakespeare’s drama ‘Othello’, ‘Haider’. Among his famous films are ’Satya’, ’Chachi 420’, ‘Maqbool’, ‘Omkara’, ‘Kaminey’, ‘Ishqiya’, ‘7Khoon Maaf’ and many such ever remembering movies. He also scored the title track for Sear Plus, Star Parivar Awards with the channels new anthem. He composed music for almost all the latest movies and for present genre actors. He has sung with renowned singers like Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Suresh Wadkar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Kavita Krishnamurti. In May 2014 he tested his hands in the field of design and stage direction for an opera of Paris, France. We are sure that this National Award Winner for direction definitely would achieve success for himself and for the Indians....
