Zoya Akhtar has now become a household name prominently known for her movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara as the most entertaining director. She is just three films old in the industry, but she earned applauses for her work; she bagged Filmfare award for best director in movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. She was born on 14th October 1972 to industry’s most renowned writer, poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar and screenwriter Honey Irani. She had her schooling at Maneckji Cooper and completed her graduation at St. Xavier’s College.

Born on 18 July 1982, Priyanka Chopra is an established actress and ex Miss World. She is also a talented singer. She is one of the richest actresses of Indian film industry and is a celebrated diva of Bollywood. Priyanka Chopra is bestowed with numerous credits; she has won the Filmfare awards 4 times and National Award once. 

Born in Jamshedpur, Priyanka’s parents were doctors in Indian Army. Born in an army family to Col. AjayKumar and AshimaSharma on May 1st 1988, Anushka Sharma has excelled in her career as an actress. Upon graduating from Mount Carmel College, she set her eyes in the modeling world. Her breakthrough came when she modeled for Wendell Rodricks at the Lakme Fashion Week in 2007. She at the time had no such aspirations to become an actress.

For her role in the movie she won the Best Supporting Actress at Filmfare, Zee Cine, Stardust, and IIFA awards. Anushka recently starred opposite Aamir Khan in the blockbuster PK. The movie, which questions religion and the superstitions that come with, became a huge hit worldwide. It has broken box records in India and around the world for an Indian film. Anushka made her debut as a producer in NH10 in 2015 along with playing the leading role. It is a crime-thriller that looks at various social issues such as honor killing and street crimes in India.

The beautiful Shefali Shah is an actress of Indian origin. Born on July 1972, she belongs to Agra. However, she was born and brought up in Mumbai, where, her dream of being an actress came up. She belonged to a non-film background, her father working in RBI and mother being a homeopathy doctor. The actress found her way into Bollywood through daily soaps and her stupendous acting skills. She has worked in loads of Hindi movies. She made her debut in the drama Rangeela in 1995, sharing the silver screen with Urmila Matondkar and the perfectionist Aami Khan. The actress was seen in a crime movie Satya, where she played a supporting role. Some other movies, in which her acting skills were prevalent are Gandhi-My Father, Kuchh Luvv Jaisa.

Ritesh Sidhwani was born in Mumbai on January 1, 1973. He had no formal education on filmmaking, yet he turned himself as a producer of Bollywood films and runs Excel Entertainment (an Indian film studio) in Mumbai, which was jointly created by Javed Akhtar’s son Farhan Akhtar, and Ritesh Sidhwani in the year 1999. So far the duo had released 14 blockbuster films under Excel Entertainment banner.

He considers Robert Di Niro as his inspiration for his life & career & respects his parents for the heritage he got & continues to do better work. He has a production company named Excel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. established with Ritesh Sidhwani. 

He directed a 12 min short film named Positive, 2007 based on HIV-AIDS, to create awareness about the problem. He did sing for Rock On which showed his versatility. He has also launched a social campaign named MARD – Men against Rape & Discrimination.

He established himself as a singer as well and his recent release is a Hindi movie namely, Welcome Back that got released in 2015.
