Asha is considered to be the second greatest female vocalist in India, second to only her sister the great Lata Mangeshkar. Born on September 8th 1933 in Maharashtra to Master Deenanath Mangeshkar, a classical singer and actor. Her father passed away when Asha was only 10 and she and her sister began to sing from an early age to support their family. Asha had a big family with 4 sisters, including Asha, and one brother.

Sapna Awasthi, the “chaiya chaiya” fame from Dil Se (1998) is a popular Indian playback singer. Over the years she has delivered many hits like “UP Bihar Lootne” from Shool (1999), “Pardesi Pardesi” from Raja Hindustani (1996), “Bachke Tu Rehna Re” from Company (2002), ”Sab Kuch Bhula Diya” from Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam (2002) including recent hits like “Katiya Karu” from the famous Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rockstar (2011).

Born in Kumaon, Sapna is the daughter of a Sanskrit lecturer in Lucknow University. Her singing style which seems largely influenced by Rajasthani folk music came into limelight first after she sang “Bano Teri Ankhiya” in Shekhar Kapoor’s Dushmani (1992). But it was after the famous song “Pardesi Pardesi” in the Aamir Khan-Karishma Kapoor blockbuster hit Raja Hindustani that she became a household name.

Apart from singing in numerous Bollywood films, she also released an album “chunariya” along with Kavita Krishnamurthi and Vinod Rathode. Sapna Awasthi is mainly known for her high pitched songs as against the music in 1960’s and 1970’s which were more sophisticated. Her singing is influenced by the famous Lata Mangeshkar and Noor Jahan as well as the folk songs of Daler Mehendi which gives her song the peculiar folk touch.

She is such a talented and promising star who adored a lot in making good films. As a result, people liked her performances in the movies that she acted. She emerged out to be one of the popular actresses at that part of time and made a splendid mark in the Bollywood film industry. 

She acted in a Malayalam movie, namely Ayyappantamma Neyyappam Chuttu and her role as Latha reached a huge accreditation. She also graduated herself from the level of an actress to that of a director. This is not an easy attempt to be made by any actresses. She made her first movie as a director quite successfully. The name of the movie was Mr Ya Miss and moreover, she worked as a story writer for the movie.

Achal Kapoor or Boney Kapoor is a very famous Indian film producer born on November 11 1955 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Boney Kapoor is the eldest son of Surinder Kapoor, who was also a famous film producer. His father was the cousin of Prithviraj Kapoor, who was the veteran actor and director. He is the eldest brother of the actors Sanjay Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. Boney Kapoor was married to Mona Shourie Kapoor in 1983. Both of them spilt after their 13 years of marriage in 1996. They had two children, Arjun Kapoor, and Anshula Kapoor. In 1996, Boney Kapoor married to famous Indian actress Sridevi. Boney made his debut in the film industry as a producer with the film Hum Paanch in 1980. Since then Boney gave many blockbuster movies in the Bollywood industry. Boney’s film Mr. India was his most acclaimed film which proved to be a milestone in his career. “Mogambo khush hua” became the most famous dialogue and Mogambo became the most famous villains in the era of Bollywood.

C. Ashwini Dutt is a producer in the Telugu film industry and owns one of the biggest production companies of the Telugu cinema till date, the Vyjayanthi Movies. The production house started in the year 1974 in Hyderabad, and the first movie it released was “O Seetha Katha”, starring Chandramohan and directed by K. Vishwanath. The movie won various awards including the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film and was also remade in languages such as Malayalam and Tamil, starring Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth respectively.

P Som Shekhar, popularly known as Som Shekar, was a Telugu and Hindi film producer, actor, and director. He was the cousin of renowned director Ram Gopal Verma. He started his career as an executive producer of the film ‘Rangeela,’ a romantic comedy released in 1995, starring popular Bollywood actors such as Aamir Khan, Urmila Matondkar, and Jackie Shroff. After the major success of Rangeela, Som Shekar continued his journey as an executive producer and worked in several Hindi films, such as Daud: Fun on the Run (1997), Satya (1998), Mast (1999), and Company (2002). 

Jaideep Sahni is an Indian screenwriter and lyricist known for his contribution in Bollywood. Born in 1968, Jaideep was brought up in New Delhi. In his school days, Jaideep could not understand the differences between the arts and science streams, as he loved these academic fields. Later, he opted for science subjects instead of arts. He continued his education at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Bidar that is located in the state of Karnataka. Fondly known as JD during his college days, his friends considered him as an intelligent student who kept quiet in most of the time. He worked with NIIT Limited, a learning-based company as a computer engineer.

Hemant Chaturvedi is a brilliant cinematographer from India who has been working extensively for more than 20-years in the Hindi industry. His first critically acclaimed film was the box-office hit film, Company by Ram Gopal Varma in 2002; followed by two consecutive films by Vishal Bhardwaj. One is the Indian horror film, Makdee and the other one is the crime drama film, Maqbool from where he received acclaim. In 2005, he worked with the English-language Indian film, 15 Park Avenue by Aparna Sen and subsequently worked as a cinematographer in the Hindi film, Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota and the Bollywood mystery film, ‘Anthony Kaun Hai?’ in 2006. He has done the 2007 Hindi short film, Positive by Farhan Akhtar and later worked in the anthology film, Dus Kahaniyaan. His cinematography received positive reviews for his work in the Bollywood crime drama film, Kurbaan in 2009. In year 2012, he works in the romantic drama film, Ishaqzaade by Habib Faisal and the animated film, Arjun: The Warrior Prince. This year, he works for the film, Dekh Tamasha Dekh and Watchdogs. Recently, he did the comedy drama film, Ungli by Rensil D’Silva. Hemant is currently filming Karan Malhorta’s film, Brothers which is set to release in year 2015.

Prior to all these, Hemant also worked as a production assistant in the 1994 documentary film, Street Musicians of Bombay. In 2011, the promising cinematographer will supposedly work with the Tamil gangster-thriller film, Billa II but he was later opted out since the film is being delayed at that time.

Hemant also done a variety of television shows including the Rendevouz with Simi Gareal in 1997 and the very popular game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati. He also did several commercials ads including the Vasan Eye Care: Happiness Begins Here – Makhan Singh. Hemant also worked with actress and director, Nandita Das in three part 60-seconds film that promotes education for underprivileged children in association with UNICEF and Commissioned by the Social Initiative Group of ICCI.

This year, he was associated by the Whistling Woods International in Mumbai and they conducted a Digital Cinematography workshop.

The eldest son of Kannada author and businessman D.K Chowta, Sandeep Chowta is a well known Indian music director. He was born in Ghana, a country in West Africa, grew up in Nigeria and later Banglore, India. Currently, he puts up in Chennai. He has been directing music for Kannada films and has also contributed to Bollywood and the Telegu cinema, Tollywood. He has directed music for five films in Tollywood and now is directing music for all the three industries. In 2003, he produced a documentary dealing with the drug peddling menace rampant in the country. He named it ‘Dead End’. The documentary was much applauded at the film festival and was government renowned. His musical talent was so much so that he managed to invite Jay Oliver and Richard Gannaway to his Mumbai studio. Their presence proved to be fruitful for him and since then he is one of the groups contributing producers.

Nitin Raikwar is a very talented music composer and lyricist working in the Bollywood film industry. He was born on 6th December 1977 in Mumbai. Nitin studied classical singing when he was in school and right after finishing the studies he decided to pursue his dreams of becoming a musician in the Bollywood film industry. In 1996, he made his debut as a lyricist in Loafer. The Anil Kapoor starrer did very well at the box office and so did the songs and hence began the journey of Nitin Raikwar’s lyricist career. He went on to work as a lyricist in movies like Gharwali Baharwali, Slave, Loha, Company, Road, Hathyar: Face To Face With Reality, Mr Ya Miss, Darna Zaroori Hai, Familywala, Marne Bhi Do Yaaron.

Altaf Raja is a Qawwali singer from India. He was born on 15 October 1967 at Nagpur in Maharashtra, India. He made his debut as a singer in 1994 through an album called “Tum to Thehre Pardesi” whose 4 million units got sold. Altaf belongs to a family of professional Qawwals, where he started learning music from the age of 15. He does the nasal style of singing. Altaf appeared as an actor in Shapath (1997), Mother (1999), Ghanchakkar (2013), and Yamraaj (1998). Raja has made various albums like Tum to Thehre Pardesi (1994), Mujhe Apna Bana Lo (1999), Dil Ke Tukde Hazaar Huye (2000), Altaf and Adnan Ek Saath (2001), Tere Ishq Ne Maalalmaal Kiya (20006), Chalo Maikhane Chalo (2009), Bum Gola (2015), and etc.

Born on 15th December 1970, Babul Supriyo is a talented singer. He is also an actor and politician. At present, he holds the post of Minister of State for Urban Development under the regulation of Government of India. He is also Minister of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation. As a cinema artist, he has worked in over 70 films. Other than Hindi, he has given his voice for Oriya and Bengali films. 
The year 2014 saw him entering politics; he got himself associated with the Narendra Modi’s government. He was the youngest minister at that time.
Supriyo was initially working in a bank, but quite this coveted job owing to his passion for singing. He has a beautiful voice which to an extent resembles Kumar Sanu, a reputed Bollywood singer. But Supriyo feels that everybody faces an identity crisis.  He has worked in Bengali flicks as a lead hero. 
Supriyo is a B. Com Honors graduate.Supriyo had his early days in Uttarpara, Hooghly. He imbibed music skills from his grandfather Banikantha N C Baral who was a composer and vocalist in Bengali. Having starting his profession with the name Supriyo, he later changed it to Supriyo. The songs of the 1997 flick Saat Rang Ke Sapne made Supriyo very famous. This flick was directed by Priyadarshan. The number O Piya O Piya from Agni Sakshi was also a success, but it was wrongly thought to be Kumar Sanu’s voice. The album Tere Liye was a successful endeavor of Supriyo.

Sudesh Bhonsle was born on 1st July 1960 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is a very popular singer in the Bollywood film industry and is especially known for exactly imitating the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. He made his debut venture as a singer in the film Zalzala, that got released in the year 1988.

Kunal Mehta is a known sound designer in the India Film Industry. He had done many hit movies of his time in his career span. The sound designer was born in the year 1976 and entered the Entertainment industry without any professional training or diploma course. He began his career with the studio named ‘Sumi’ as an assistant. Here, he learned the different nuances of Sound design and the importance of background music for any visual. He debuted with the film ‘Mann’ in the year 1999 and gained immense fame with the movie ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’ starring Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen, Katrina Kaif, and Sohail Khan.

Ganesh Hegde is a popular singer, choreographer and presenter who have worked for a number of Bollywood songs and movies. He has also choreographed for some Indian television shows.

Ganesh Hegde is a popular singer, musician and choreographer who have worked for Indian television industry and Bollywood. Some of his finest works as choreographer include Lagaan and Company. Ganesh Hegde has worked as a choreographer for various stage shows too. He was the main choreographer for the stage show Temptations 2004 which included performances of Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee, Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Rampal, and Shahrukh Khan. He has also choreographer for Filmfare Awards and Zee Cine Awards. In addition, he has also choreographed a number of item songs for various movies including Mast Mahaul Mein Jeene De for movie Fiza.

Ganesh Hegde started his career as a choreographer and performer with legendry singer Asha Bhonsle. He has also choreographed and sung the title rap song ‘Ek Sawaal Ka Sawaal Hai’ for Indian television quiz program Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 3. The host of the show during the third season was Shahrukh Khan. He also appeared as a judge for the dancing competition television series Kabhi Kabhii Pyar Kabhi Kabhii Yaar which was aired from July 2008 to August 2008 on Sony TV. He also judged a singing competition television show Fame X 2006. His co-judges for the show were Daler Mehndi and Nikhil Chinapa.

Ganesh was born on 10th November 1973 to Harishchandra Subbaiah Hegde and Vidya Hegde in a Tulu-speaking family in Mumbai. He completed his schooling at Umedbhai Patel English School and graduated from Prahladrai Dalmia Lions College, Mumbai. Ganesh married Sunayna Shetty in 2011. The couple has two sons, Giaan and Hriyaan. Chandan Arora is an Indian cinema personality who is serving as a director and editor in Bollywood. Chandan obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bombay University in 1991. His subject was “Business Administration and Management”.Arora is fluent in five languages: English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, and Marathi. Chandan started out as an assistant director in the year 1989. Later, he was an assistant of Kishore Kapadia, a cameraman.

Allan Amin is a renowned action director predominantly working in Bollywood, Tollywood and Mollywood film industries. He is the recipient of The Filmfare Award for best action in 2001, 2004, 2006 respectively for Mission Kashmir (2000), Qayamat: City Under Threat (2003) and Dus (2005). Though Ram Gopal Verma considered him too cute to play a gangster's role and was in second thoughts Vivek went to the slums of Mumbai and did his homework and after a couple of weeks he barged into Verma's office dressed as Chandu the Gangster, swung his feet up on the table and landed the contract which turned out to be a remarkable debut.

Akash Khurana is a noted actor, screenwriter, media personality and an entrepreneur. He is one of those actors who are very well read. Ashraf Ul Haque was born on 3rd November, 1969, in Goalpara, Assam, India. Ashraf was an Indian actor and comedian, and has been in many big budget movies. He was a brilliant actor with excellent comic timing. Ashraf is famous for his dacoit roles and has also done multiple drug addict roles in different movies. He graduated from the National School of Drama. Ashraf has appeared in various TV commercials too, one of them being for Maaza. In this ad, he complains about losing his buffalo to the local commissioner of the town, which was an incredible ad, and Ashraf was fantastic.

Bharat Dabholkar is an actor-director and a writer born on 31 December 1969. Bharat was a management graduate who did his degree in law before stepping into the film industry. Bharat was a trainee at Philips at the initial stage of his career and the man behind the cheesy and buttery advertisements of Amul Butter in campaigns and billboards. Bharat grew interest in the theatres while he was at DaCunha Associates. Since then Bharat wrote and directed 29 plays. He made his debut in the film industry with the film One 2Ka 4 in 2001. Since then Bharat did many roles in the movies like Corporate, Tara Rum Pum, Veer, and Xpose. Bharat made his directional debut with the movie God Only Knows! Which was also written by him.

Ganesh Yadav is a Bollywood actor, who has crossed more than fifty films in his career, till now. He has also acted in Marathi movies too. Basically, he is a Maharashtrian. He has acted in many movies in Marathi, including Dabba Aise Paise. Ganesh Yadav is married and has a son. Most of his performances were negative roles and for the first time he has committed in a positive role in Siddhant, a Marathi movie. He has also acted in south Indian languages such as Tamil and Telugu. In Tamil, he has acted in the movie Bommayi in 2009. But his Tamil debut was Sathurangam, with Srikanth and Sonia Agarwal. If it got released at the right time, Ganesh Yadav would have come around in the Tamil movies as a top Villain or a good character artist.

Gandhi of the Month is his latest movie, which is set to release. Most of the movies had him as the corrupted police officer or a villain. Right from a small role as a watchman, he has grown as a leading villain. Harsh Chhaya is an Indian television and Bollywood film actor who has starred in several Indian television series and movies. 

Harsh Chhaya's debut on television was a small role in a Zee TV series Tara. However, Harsh claim to fame was to portray the character of a wealthy but sleazy boss, who sexually exploits his employee in television series Hasratein. Such powerful was his performance that it created a stereotypical image of Harsh as a corrupt boss. As a result, harsh also portrayed the character of an immoral boss in his Bollywood flick in Laaga Chunari Mein Daag.

Hemant Mishra is one of India's best-known theater actors who acted in Hindi movies and Television series too. He was born in 1960. He graduated from National School of Drama(1978). The actor is from Delhi where he acted in many TV serials for Doordarshan and a few Hindi movies. He mostly played character actor in the movies. He worked in various kinds of characters on screen and had entertained viewers. The first break he got was in the Hindi movie ‘Ek Ruka Hua Faisla’(1986) where he played a juror along with eleven other jurors in a courtroom. Basu Chatterjee directed the movie. The movie received critical acclaim as it was an adaptation of an American Motion Picture ( 12 Angry Men). In1989, he acted in a commercial movie of Sunny Deol and Sridevi ‘Joshilaay. Shekhar Kapur directed some scenes in the movie. Then, he ditched efforts halfway through the movie's production. Shekhar Kapur, who was planning “Bandit Queen,'', had cast this actor in a character role. Later on, Mani Ratnam signed him for a cameo role in a movie ‘Dil Se’.
