1. Rani Mukerji
Rani Mukerji is one of the most celebrated Indian Actress, she has been at the helm of the Indian Film Industry for many years, and has garnered much love and appreciation for the characters that she has played. She hails from a film background, however, did not show much interest till the time she played a character in her father’s film Biyer Phool. She then played many roles before her major break came when Karan Johar signed him for the movie, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, the movie was a blockbuster and Rani reached a stage, where she found herself destined to be. In the movie, she shared screen space with her paternal sister and a phenomenal actress Kajol and the star Shah Rukh Khan. Her success has been remarkable, and the roles that she has played have been phenomenal. Rani came very close to marrying actor Abhishek Bachchan but somehow the relationship did not work out. Rani received the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her role in the movie Hum Tum, and she has won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress three times. She was born on 21st March 1978 and is married to the director Aditya Chopra, the son of legendary director Yash Chopra. They have a daughter together.

The strong macho image of Randeep Hooda graces the Indian Film Industry. He started off at a young age and has now become a main presence in the Indian Film Industry. He has recently played numerous worthy characters for which, he has received much critical and public acclaim. Hooda hails from a town named Rohtak in Haryana and belongs to an illustrious background. His father is a surgeon and mother, a social worker. He started off studying at a boarding school in Sonepat, Haryana. However, just as he was about to establish himself as a theater director in the school, his parents transferred him to DPS RK Puram, as they wanted him to be a doctor. He was said that, he developed the attitude of anger from there, as he was at a difficult phase being an unknown from a place where he was much loved.

Hooda started off with, playing a role in Deepa Nair’s Monsoon Wedding. However, his major break came from Ramgopal Verma’s movie Dawood Ibrahim named ‘D’. He emerged as a star in the making, and signed of meeti roles and became quite a star.

He has quite a love for horses and says, he missed riding for seventeen long years, from his days at school. He also shares a love for writing and started off by writing a column that depicted what the Indian boys faced in Australia.

Saqib Saleem also known as Saqib Saleem Qureshi (born 8 April 1988), is an Indian model turned actor based in Bollywood films. Before beginning his career in cinema, he was a full-time model. When he moved to Mumbai, Saleem started appearing in several ad films and subsequently managed a leading role in the Yash Raj Films. This romantic comedy, ‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’ was released in 2011. It was an average hit. However, his performance in the film brought him critical acclamation.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui was born in Budhana in Muzaffarpur district of Western UP on May 19, 1974. He grew up with seven brothers and two sisters in his native village. He is a science graduate from Gurukul Kangri University Haridwar and after completion of his graduation, he worked as a chemist in a factory for a short while. He did not like the job and hence leaving it proceeded to Delhi to find some other job which might interest him. As he could not find a suitable job in Delhi, he even worked as a watchman for his survival. Within a short while, he watched theatres and felt interested in it. He joined a theatre group and started studying the art of acting. He graduated in acting from National School of Drama in 1996 and relocated to Mumbai to pursue his career in acting.
On arrival in Mumbai, sustenance and survival became a serious issue for him and he started doing minor and few minute roles in the television which was simply not enough either for his survival or to showcase his acting talent. At one point of time having been fed up with minor roles in TV, he decided to try his luck in Bollywood film industry where though the roles were minor and nondescript, the money paid was higher than that of TV serials.
After a very long story of struggle, he got the lead role in Pipli Live, Kahani, gangs of Wasseypur and gangs of Wasseypur-2 which turned the tables in his favour. He won a National special jury award for his performance in Pipli Live.

6. Anurag Kashyap
Born on 10th September 1972, Anurag Kashyap has established himself in Bollywood as a prominent director, producer, and screenwriter while even giving acting a try. Â A born and raised Uttar Pradeshi, Kashyap had keen interest in science and aimed to become a scientist. In an interview Anurag said that he had no dreams of going into the film industry and had all hopes of pursuing Zoology. He went on to say, this all changed in 1993 after he watched Bicycle Thieves, an Italian film directed by Vittorio De Sica. The film inspired him enough to give us becoming a scientist and move to Dehli to become a filmmaker. Â Â
Anurag got his first chance in the industry as a screenwriter for Auto Narayan when the initial script by Subramaniam was not working and Anurag was given a chance to rewrite it. He then wrote the screenplay for Jayate, a Hansal Mehta film, which was never released. Ram Gopal Varma was impressed by Anurag’s work in Auto Narayan and signed him for the screenplay and dialogue for his thriller, Satya. The film was critically acclaimed as one of the best crime, gangster movie of Bollywood. He then dabbled with production after some time with his director debut in Paanch. The movie faced trouble with the certification board due to the content not being suitable for all.  In 2012, he took on two ambitious movies in Gangs of Wasseypur 1 and 2, which received numerous awards and outstanding reviews. He recently produced and directed Bombay Velvet, which is currently in theatre and has received praise from critics.
