A model, film producer and actress, Tarina Patel is from South Africa, where she was born and brought up. Her father, Raman Patel, is a doctor, whereas her mother, Veena Patel, is an English and History teacher. Tarina is their only child, and she was brought up in The Bluff, Durban. Her paternal grandmother is responsible for inculcating religious faith in her since she was raised as a Hindu. After finishing school from Durban Girl's College, at the age of 16, she came to India to pursue medicine. However, she returned to South Africa and completed her education in Psychology from the University of Free State.

Rasika Joshi was an established actress and served in many Hindi and Marathi entertainment assignments. She was born to a Brahmin Marathi family and married to Mr. Girish Joshi who is also a notable name in Marathi film industry. She died on 7 July 2011 due the suffering from leukemia.

She initiated as theatre actress and started her carrier with Lata Narvekar’s Marathi play and ended with Ram Gopal Verma’s Hindi movie Not a Love Story. She was the part of many commercial successes like Gayab, Vastu Shashtra, Billu etc. She got engaged with Ram Gopal Verma in a work assignment of Ek Hasina Thi and got noticed by him. Thereafter she became his favorite and worked in many of his Hindi films.

For TV, she became the well known for Marathi assignments Prapanch, Ghadlay Bighadlay and Bua Alaa. She had also appeared in Ekta Kapoor’s Bandini where she portrayed the negative role of Tara Fui. The Serial narrated the story of a poor village girl who faced a lot of problems. Everything in her life had been fixed by the America returned queen Mohsina. The show aired on NDTV Imagine and produced under the banner of Balaji Telefilms.

In theatre, she wrote, directed, and acted in plays like White Lily & Night Rider which bagged many awards for her along with co-actor Milind Pathak.

Ameesha Patel was born on 9th June 1975. She is an Indian actress. She is working in Bollywood films and Telugu films as well. She performed in most of the blockbuster Indian films like Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai in 2000, Ek Prem Katha in 2001 and won the special praise due to her performance in Gadar. In 2002 she performed in a film Humraaz which became super hit in Bollywood and she was nominated for best actress of the year. In 2011 she introduced her private production house under the name as Ameesha Patel Productions with her corporate partner Kuunal Goomer.

Ameesha Patel belongs to a Gujarati family. Her father name is Amit Patel and her mother name is Asha Patel. She opened her eyes in the real world first time in Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Her schooling is from Cathedral and John Connon School located in Mumbai. She got her higher education from Medford in Tufts University.

After graduation she started her career as a financial forecaster at Khandwala Securities Limited. When she came back to home country, she joined theatre of Satyadev Dubey group and played various roles in different serials. She also did modeling for numerous Indian brands including Bajaj Sevashram, Lux, Fair & Lovely and many more.

She got first opportunity to do acting when her father’s schoolmate offered her in 2000 in a film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai but she declined the offer as she desired to endure her studies in USA. She was replaced by Kareena Kapoor but due to some reasons Kareena was dropped and she again received the offer in a family lunch. After this film she became one of the most popular artists. Ameesha Patel also worked in a number of talk shows such as Rendezvous along with co-host Simi Garewal and some other shows others. She was also the evaluator of special Valentine’s Day episode in 2006.

Vidya Balan is an award winning Bollywood actress who was born in Poothamkurussy, Puthur of Kerala. Her birthday is 1st of January in 1978. Her parents are Saraswathy and P. R Balan. Her elder sister is Priya Balan and her second cousin is Indian actress Priyamani. She studied at a High School in Mumbai and in 1995, at the age of sixteen, she played the role of Radhika in the first season of Ekta Kapoor's TV series named “Hum Paanch”. Parineeta was a box-office hit and Vidya received the Filmfare best actress award in 2006, for her performances in Parineeta. Later, she appeared in “Lage Raho Munna Bhai” (2006) co starred with Sanjay Dutt. In 2007, she appeared in romantic comedy film “Heyy Babyy”. Heyy Babyy is a remake of Hollywood film “Three Men and a Baby”. Vidya played the role of Isha Sahni and the movie became an overnight hit. She got the opportunity of working with director Aziz Mirza, in 2008. Aziz selected Vidya for the role of Priya, in “Kismat Konnection”. The victorious period of her career as a Hindi actress began in the year 2009. She appeared in five different successive films, including “Paa” (2009), “Ishqiya” (2010), “The Dirty Picture” (2011), Kahaani (2012). Her prominent acting skills in those roles recognized her in Hindi cinema. She has won the National Film Award for best actress (Dirty picture), five Filmfare Awards for Parineeta (2005), Paa (2009), The Dirty Picture (2011), and Kahaani (2012) and Ishqiya (2010), five Screen Awards and Padma Shri Award in 2014. Vidya Balan got married to Siddharth Roy Kapoor, the CEO of UTV Motion Pictures on 14th of December 2012 in Bandra, Mumbai.

Priyadarshan Soman Nair is a famous Director, Producer and screen writer. He is awarded the Padma Shri Award by the government in 2012. He has worked for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi cinema in his career since 1984. Although he began his career from Malayalam movies, he is recognized for his comedy films in Bollywood. He is an extremely versatile director and has films in almost every genre. Priyadarshan was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He graduated from University College in his home town with a M.A in Philosophy.

Bhushan Kumar was born on 27 November in 1977 in Delhi in India. He is a film and music producer for many films in Indian Film Industry. He is mainly known for Hindi films. He is also the MD of the T-Series Music Production. His parents are Sudesh Kumari and Gulshan Kumar, who is the founder of T-Series. He was married to Divya Kumar in Katra. They were married in 2005. Krishan Kumar is an Indian film actor and a producer. He is well known for the movie ‘Bewafa Sanam’ in 1995. He owns one of the largest music company, T-series. His father’s name is Chandrabhan Kumar Dua. He was married to Tanya Dua and had a daughter Tishaa Kumari Dua. His elder brother is Gulshan Kumar and nephew is Bhusan Kumar. Akshay Kumar was born on 9th September 1967 and his birth name is ‘Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia’. He is a great Bollywood actor who has acted in more than 100 movies. He is also a producer and martial artist. He has won The Filmfare awards a couple of times. He started off his career as an actor in 1990s, where he had stricken with action based movies initially. He has been greatly appreciated for his drama, romance and comic roles. He is considered to be the only Bollywood actor whose net box office collection is 20 million rupees. He has done a lot of dangerous stunts in movies without a body double. This did gain a name for him as 'Indian Jackie Chan'.

Shiney Ahuja was born on May 15, 1975, to Suraj Prakash Ahuja and Seema Ahuja. His father was a Colonel. Shiney did his schooling in Army schools across the country. Ahuja developed his interest in acting at Hansraj College, Delhi University. He further developed his interest in acting by attending National School of Drama. He started his career as a model and then continued in modeling for some time. After completing his college, Ahuja first secured his first commercial ad for Pepsi. After the successful Pepsi ad, he starred in nearly 40 ads. His ad career boosted his chance to enter into Bollywood. His talent was identified by Sudhir Mishra, the director of Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. This film has two male lead role characters, i.e., the role of SiddharthTyabji and Vikram Malhotra. He first auditioned for the role of Siddharth Tyabji.

Rajpal Yadav, the hilarious Indian movie actor, acknowledged for his outrageously comic villainous roles in most of his films. He comes from a small town Kundra situated in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, on 16th March 1971,. He came from a simple family that didn’t know much about the film industry. During a film shoot in Canada, while enjoying the sweet delight of an ice-cream, he met Radha, who is now his wife. And after talking over the phone from Mumbai, for several months, Radha finally moved to Mumbai.

The Padma Shri award winner who shot to fame with his role in the 1986 blockbuster film ‘Naam’, which told the story of a poor family that struggled to make ends meet, was born on 30th May 1950 in Mumbai. He completed his graduation from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. Rawal made his debut in the film industry through the movie ‘Holi’ in the year 1984 but it was his next film, ‘Naam’, which brought him all the fame and attention as an actor. Success followed him, and he acted in over hundred films during 1980s and 1990s. Such was his versatility, that he has done roles from lead actor to Main villain. He did the role of main villain in most of his movies and he was considered as a character actor during those days.

He received nationwide recognition as villain through his negative roles in Telugu blockbusters like ‘Kshana Kshanam’, ‘Money’ etc. He was considered as a character actor until his role in the 2000 hit ‘Hera Pheri’ which gave a turn in Paresh Rawal’s career. ‘Hera Pheri’ told the story of a witty Marathi landlord who rents his apartment out to bachelors. He started taking either lead or the main protagonist roles in many of the mainstream Bollywood films that followed. Rawal received wide recognition and appreciation for his role in ‘Hera Pheri’, and his acting in the film was considered as the major contributing factor to the movie’s success. Many comedy numbers followed and Paresh Rawal’s roles in all those movies got the best feedback. 

 He is also a renowned actor in Gujarati drama industry, and his latest play ‘Dear Father’ was a hit. He has also produced several successful TV soaps including ‘Teen Bahuraniyaan’ of ‘Zee TV’. Paresh Rawal is also into politics and won the parliament election from Ahmedabad East constituency to become the Member of Parliament for BJP in 2014. He is married to the 1979 Miss India and actress Swaroop Sampat and has two sons, Aditya and Aniruddh.

Manoj Joshi is an Indian television, theatre and film actor. He is better known for his roles in movies than in series. He is well known for his comic roles, and has been praised for his good comedy acting. His birthday is September third. The actor was born in a village called ‘Adapodara’ which is in the northern part of Gujarat. His family is versed in the acting profession, and even his brother Rajesh Joshi was an actor. Rajesh Joshi passed away in the year 1998.

One of his first roles was in the television serial Chanakya which he played before the turn of the millennium. He is also an actor in the Gujarati play of the same name, as well as its director. He won a best actor award for his portrayal of Chanakya in the series. He also acted in soap opera ‘Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka’ on Sony TV. He has also acted in several Marathi serials.

He has also acted in several films, notably comedies. His first major role was in the movie ‘Hungama’ after which he has appeared in several movies including ‘Bhagam Bhag’, ‘Ready’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’.

He was last planning to make a play on the life of Sardar Vallabhai Patel.

Vineeth, is the nephew of yesteryear actress Padmini  and cousin of actress Shobana. He had grown to be a classical dancer due to inspiration that he got from aunt Padmini. It was Ragini (sister of  Padmini)  who saw him dancing at age of  four,  and both Padmini and Ragini, had  instructed Vineeth’s parents to send him to a dancing school. Since then his journey into dancing had begun and even today dancing is his just a passion and not a past time work.

Vikram Gokhale is one of the very promising actors in the television and Bollywood industry. He is born on the 14th of November, 1945. He is also popular for stage acting. He is known for his significant contribution to the Marathi and Hindi films. Chandrakanth Gokhale is his father. He too is a theatre artist and is known for his contribution to the Marathi Theater. He was born in Pune, but is currently settled in Mumbai and works from there.

One of the significant roles on the television very recently is that of Dr. Kamal Chopra in the serial Sanjivani that was aired on Star Plus in 2002, and continued till 2005. Sanjeevani was based on the lives of doctors and the bond between a doctor and a patient. Vikram Gokahale played the role of the filthy rich doctor, Dr.Chopra, who was also the trustee of the hospital- Sanjeevani.

Recently in movies he has been seen in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Bhool Bhulaiya. In Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, he plays the role of a singer who desires his daughter to follow the culture and traditions of his family and hence forbids her to marry his foreigner student, Sameer that was played by Salman Khan. Bhool Bhulaiya is a psychological thriller, based on multiple personality disorder, where he plays the guru to the genius psychiatrist and helps save the life of a patient affected by the same disease.

On 24th November 2022, Vikram Gokhale was admitted to a private hospital in Pune for various health issues. His health deteriorated and he died at the hospital on 26th November 2022.
