Anupriya Kapoor is an Indian TV actress, born on November 26, 1991 in Punjab, Delhi, India. She became popular for portraying as the lead protagonist in the highly acclaimed drama series, on STAR Plus. She plays the role of Taani. She moved to Mumbai with her brother, Vyom Kapoor when she joined Voice of India. She came from a broken family and grew up with her mother, brother and grandmother. She studies Political Science in Delhi University.

Anupriya started on the youth oriented TV series, Miley Jab Hum Tum on STAR One. Later, she performed on the fiction-based series, Seven and on the Season 3 of Ssshhhh… Phir Koi Hai. She was then introduced on Rishta.com and since then she got an offers in the Indian drama series, Tere Liye as a protagonist along with Harshad Chopra. She played the role of Taani and their chemistry became a big hit to the audiences. She received special awards for doing this role and made her popular. She also did an episodic in the series, Yeh Hai Aashiqui on Bindass channel.

Anupriya won the Indian Telly Awards for Best Debut in 2010 and the Indian Television Academy Awards for Best Debut Actress Female. She also received the Zee Gold Awards for Best Debut and the New Talent Awards for Best New Actress. All this awards was from the serial, Tere Liye. Along with this, she was nominated with Star Parivaar Awards for Favorite Naya Sadasya and Favorite Beti.
