Her parents, Atasi and Subrata Banerjee were a couple from the Indian city of Kolkata, West Bengal. Antara shifted to the film city Mumbai, in the year 2013, with a dream to become an actress in Bollywood. She has learned professional classical ‘Kathak’ dance and is a professional classical singer.
