Rekha Rao, is a well known actress in the Indian Film Industry. She has not only acted in Bollywood movies but, also in Marathi films. She was born and brought up in Mumbai and is currently residing in the same place. Apart from acting, she is a singer as well, which shows how multi-talented she is. She is currently married and has been a part of the industry since 19 years making her a very experienced actor. She has sung songs in about 5 Bollywood films. There are a number of Marathi films she has been part of and has shared screen space with well-known Marathi actors like ‘’ who was in the famous serial ‘Hum Pannch’, where he was the father of five girls. In Marathi films she has mostly played lead roles. She has acted in Marathi films like ‘Prem Karuya Khullam Khulla’ which was released in 1987. ‘Shubhmangal saavdan’ was released in 1992. She has also acted in Bollywood films like ‘’ released in 2007, ‘Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega’ released in 2000 starring actor like , she was also part of the superhit movie ‘’ starring actress ‘Aishwarya Rai’ who is currently married to released in 1999 and many more. She has sung songs in movies like , Heroes etc. Being part of Marathi film industry and Bollywood for the last 19 years, Rekha has done some very good roles which make her a respectable figure in this field.
