Kaushik Das is an Indian - Australian actor who works in English and Indian cinema. As a child, Kaushik witnessed some frightful incidents that forced him to pursue a career in Law. Kaushik worked in the Criminal Courts in Australia. His 1st performance as a toddler was in Hanuman in an outdoor theatre with five hundred audiences. In 2021 he was awarded the John Dommett Medal from the Australian Performing Arts Conservatory.

Kaushik played a Bangladeshi refugee in "ReFraction," a short film screened at the Brisbane International festival in 2018. He produced "ReFraction," which won Best Short Film at Delhi International Film Festival, New York Indian Film Festival, and the Kolkata International festival.
