Clinton Cerejo

Clinton Cerejo is an Indian singer and music producer. He has given his contribution in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil movies as a song composer. His work in the industry is a wide range, and it includes vocal arrangements, playback singing, background scores, production, music programming, and musical arrangements. He is known for his unique style of presentation. Famous singer and personalities such as Hugh Padgham, Roy Thomas Baker, Babyface, Trevor Horn, Stevie Wonder, Peter Gabriel, Arif Mardin, Roland Orzabal and much more have always insipid him. He was born in Mumbai and belonged to a family with people from the IT field who had no connection with the music. His father worked as an engineer in L&T Company, and his mother served as a French professor.

His brother like his father is an engineer and works as a software professional. His sister serves as an editor for medical journals in the United States. He is a graduated from the Poddar College in Mumbai in the subject of Commerce. His family desired that he took up a career ahead and go for a degree in M.B.A, but his friends had many times given him suggestions that he should go into the field of music and showcase his talent. During one of his session Siddharth's father, Amar Haldipur, a famous violinist noticed the work of Clinton and was impressed by it. He introduced Clinton to Anand Modak a music director in Marathi movies who was recording songs for the movie Mukta. Clinton recorded his first English song or a Marathi movie. Later he used to give his voice for many advertisement jingles. During this time, he got an opportunity to work with Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Ranjit Barot, Louis Banks and Lezz Lewis.

He sang a lot of jingles with Kunal Ganjawala. When A R Rahman was working in a neighboring studio happened to hear Clinton's vocal arrangements and was impressed. After a month, they both met and A. R. Rahman offered him an opportunity to work with him. By this, he got more recognized in the industry and got more projects. He worked with many famous Indian composers. He even composed songs which were featured in Coke Studio.
