Amy Thanawalla is an Indian screenwriter. Apart from being a scriptwriter, she has also worked as a dialogue writer and a producer. She completed her education in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), commerce and economics. She then later obtained a certificate at intensive story seminar by Robert McKee in story and script writing. She has an adopted daughter, Falak. She was an assistant to the producer/director at Cinematt pictures from1999-2000. Currently she works as a project coordinator, line production and film release and distribution as a freelancer. She has also worked as a proprietor at CinemaKollage. She has also worked at M/s Shriji Drishti Postproduction Studios. She is known for movies such as Dunki(2023), Suno na...Ek Nanhi Aawaz(2009).
