Gobinda Baidya

Gobinda Baidya is an Indian production designer and art director working predominantly in the Hindi film and television industry. He is from Kolkata in West Bengal and has obtained his graduate degree in Visual Arts from the Chanpara-based Bengal Fine Arts College. Gobinda Baidya started working as a production designer and art director in 1992. He is married to fashion designer Debashrita Baidya and has a daughter named Eeshani. Gobinda Baidya started his Bollywood journey as an assistant art director with the 1994 movie Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. Between 1996 and 1997, he was the assistant art director in nine Bollywood movies. Gobinda Baidya shifted to Canada and worked as a production designer in the Vancouver-based Studio99 & Production Services from 2017 to 2019. He then moved to Mumbai in 2019 and worked with Applause Entertainment as a production designer. In 2022, he joined the Mumbai-based Netflix India company as a freelancer. Gobinda Baidya got associated with Zee Studio Entertainment as a production designer. Gobinda Baidya worked as a production designer in movies such as Hate Story (2012), Freedom, Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo (2014), and 420 IPC (2021). He has also worked on the television commercials for Yamaha and Radical Rice. His hobbies include traveling, cooking, reading, photography, gardening, and collecting antiques.
