Srikant Kekare

Srikant Kekare is a Hindi editor, producer, and Ad film director. His hometown is Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. He did Electrical Engineering at SVP Indore, in 1996. He earned Sangeet Visharad and Sangeet Bhushan degrees in Mandolin, and Guitar. During his five years of engineering, he found daily routine jobs boring. So, he wrote thirteen books, and some of them were on topics of engineering that are being used in Madhya Pradesh as textbooks, in his engineering days. In 2003, he shifted from Indore to Mumbai, and worked with Zee News and Mid-Day. At this time, he has been also dubbed for Cartoon Network, NatGeo, and Discovery programs in Hindi, as a Voiceover artist. He began his career as Post Production Manager at Ramesh Deo Production Pvt. Ltd, and further worked as an editor, and assistant director from the year 2004 to 2011, for seven years.

In 2015, he joined Colonial Films, Mumbai, as a Film Director, and worked there for three years. In 2016, he worked as Film Director at White Script, for two years. He is currently working at Colonial Films as Film Director, and professional trainer, since 2015. Since 2019, he has directed films as a freelancer. He was nominated for various awards, and he won more than twenty-five awards, at NY Film Festival, LA Film Festival, and Zee Talkies Awards, for a short film. He has directed around 150 Ad-Films, and has more than seventeen years of experience working on more than a thousand Ad-Films. He led three Television Series, two feature films, and a fantastic finite show under Anil Kapoor Film Corporation ‘24’. He has acted in fifteen short films, and two web series. He has lent his voice to about a hundred documentaries on NatGeo and Discovery in Hindi, and in more than 250 Ad-Films in English, Hindi, and ten regional languages.
