Harshit Shah

Harshit Shah is a DJ, Composer, Music Producer, and Remixer based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He hails from the city of Kolkata, West Bengal. He has studied Bachelor’s of Arts in Tamil Nadu. He also went to St. Joseph’s College in Kolkata for further studies. He is the founder of Tranzfusion India. He also founded Techkarma in 2014 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Harshit started his journey in the late 90s when he used to carry a dual cassette player and a box full of cassettes in college fests to play back-to-back songs on public demand. Soon, he developed an interest in music mixing and started learning all the details of how a song is arranged, composed, and produced.

Gradually, he started making demo cuts and remixes by adding new beats to an original popular track. He became extremely confident, and he started experimenting with music by playing the tracks in clubs and residencies across Vizag and Kolkata. People were so impressed with his music that Harshit even started giving music lessons to people who wanted to learn music mixing and composition. In this way, he inaugurated his school called ‘Tranzfusion DJs,’ which later evolved into Techkarma Studios in 2014. Harshit has become a renowned DJ and has worked in more than 100 clubs across India and abroad. He was runner-up in the esteemed Times Music War of DJs in 2003.

Harshit has also become popular in the Bollywood music industry.
