Subroto Paul

Subroto Paul is an Indian director who works in the Hindi film industry and was born in New Delhi, India. He is a postgraduate diploma holder in Mass Communication from New Delhi. When Subroto was a teenager, Subroto co-founded Agantuk- Theatre of Thoughts with Bhaskar Paul, and they performed multiple shows in Delhi. At the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication, he wrote and directed the short film Road to Nowhere. The short film won an award for Best Educational Film at the 17th UGC-CEC Film Festival. Subroto has co-founded the television and video production company- Timeline Media Factory (TMF). He has directed several TVCs for brands, including TVC for Centum Learning Limited, which was awarded the Best Corporate Film in Star Awards 7th Indy's Film Festival.

Then, Subroto became associated with the Star TV serial Mano Ya Na Mano, a show based on real-life incidents.
