She was born in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She completed her education from Saint Mary Catholic High School and graduated from The University of California, Berkeley. She is fluent in English, Arabic, French, Hindi, Malayalam, and Hungarian. 

She started her career as an intern at Vimochanna-Women's Rights Forum. Then, she joined Voices Y Manes company as an Administrative and Development Assistant in California. In the company, she managed website development and prepared fundraising events. She also took the initiative to learn about non- profit management and international development. She also became an English tutor for some employees. She developed cross-cultural communication skills and deepened cross-cultural understanding.

In 2017, She joined as a clerk in Cal Student Store. She developed inter-personal skills working as a cashier, and initially interacted with at least 50 people at the beginning of the academic semester, and improved organizational skills and ability to handle challenging, unfamiliar work, and manual labor and also learned about the inner workings of store management, and adapting to hierarchical chains of command within a retail store. She also became a volunteer in Exploratory, City slickers farm. Since 2019, Sasha is working as an Associate Consultant in GEP Worldwide. Now, She is working for Strategic Advocacy for Human Rights.
