Maneej Premnath

Maneej Premnath is a film director. He was working on Bollywood films. He was born on 14th September 1975 in Tellichery, Kerala, India. He wanted to be a great director and so to begin his career he started with working as an assistant director in the Indian television. After learning from his senior directors, he planned to start his own work and start being a director himself and this was the time when he worked out on the popular Indian television show ‘Sssshhh Fir Koi Hain’, which required a lot of skills and techniques as it was a horror show which needed a lot of creativity. He did a tremendous job on the show and with appreciation from other people he decided to go to Bollywood.

He made a short film named as ‘Who Am I?’ which was a great film and the movie was selected for Kara Film Festival to represent India officially. Later he decided to go for a movie in Bollywood. He made a psycho thriller movie where four people were waiting for their train in a railway station in Tamil Nadu but the situation becomes horrible because of the presence of a rapist and a serial killer around them. The movie has its suspense and ups and downs and was appreciated by many people. Actress Shelly Kishore got an opportunity to be a part of this film, and she performed very well.

Others who were in search of good opportunity became a part of this movie. Regrettably, this great director is no more with us. He died of a brain stroke, and all the industry was feeling sad about losing such a gem. He was also about to direct another film in Malayalam in December 2012 but could do so.
